Horrible Wanted to try this place out because of the reviews. I took my son with me and it ended with regret. They did not cut either of our hair the way we asked. We didnt ask for anything complicated. Based on the way our hair looked when walking in there was no reason to cut our hair the way they did. I even pointed out a couple spots to be cautious of and Landon either didnt know what he was doing or ignored me. This is more of a butcher shop or if you want a buzz cut or want to look like a 13yr old red neck this is the place to go. They do not cut your hair in front of the mirror so you never know what they are doing until it is way too late. Brian did a great job on my sons hair, until my son asked for his bangs to be a bit shorter. 10 seconds later it looked like he pulled out the weed wacker and shortened his hair so much he looks ridiculous. During my hair cut I asked for a hot shave with a straight razor. I wanted to know what all the hub bub was about. It was fantastic; hot towel and the works, until I got somewhere to see my face. He cut me in at least three different places and never said anything to me. There were also 3 to 4 spots that felt like he never shaved. I ended up having to shave when I got home. I completely regret both hair cuts, the hot shave, paying the amount I did and for tipping as much as I did. Its an odd situation at a barber to tell them they did horrible. Once something is cut short there is no going back. A $9 great clips hair cut is a better way to go. They at least listen to your request and try to do the best they can. This almost seemed like they didnt care. Major post-purchase regret!! That all being said, they were extremely nice and have a cool place, just dont understand the hack jobs we got.

Just moved to town and this is my first visit. I saw something take place here that will make me a patron as long as I live nearby. As I sat in my chair waiting my turn, one of the barbers came over to the nearby couch and asked everyone to clear a spot. Confused, I looked around. The Barber then walked over to the front door where a patron was holding it open. The next thing I saw earned my respect. The Barber bent down and lifted a disabled teen from his wheelchair and carried him in and sat him on the cleared space on the couch. As the parent of a disabled child, this simple act of compassion earned my respect and patronage. As I sat in this shop and watched the customers stream in like a river, each was greeted personally, and all were happy to be there. Brian and three other barbers had their barber chairs full and another 14 or so patrons waiting for cuts. They worked like a well-oiled machine, quickly and efficiently dispatching the long unruly hair and wildly growing beards, and at the same time gave each customer a custom experience. I found that on Saturdays, the team rarely has time to eat due to the volume of customers. The team joked that they had thought about a burger, thought about a Coke and thought about a granola bar, so they were covered for lunch. Never have I seen a business with an owner and team so genuinely greatful for each customer who walks through the door. That appreciation shows in the haircut and beard trim, which were the best Ive had in years. Definitely going back.

I can not say I like the interior; not all men-not all gentleman- are sports fanatics. But, I will not let this deter me from an unbiased review. My particular barber gave off a negative vibe, but was not rude at all. He did a fantastic job cutting my hair the way I wanted. He took his time, and made sure all looked well. I did not like how he did not use a straight razor, along with the talc (the best of the barbershop experiences). Overall, I would recommend this place to another person, although I would much prefer a classic barbershop (such as Refine which is down the street). I expected a traditional environment, and I realize this was not one. Thanks for the great cut.

Today was our first time at The Man Cave... my son is 11 and we have been to several places for a haircut... he has extremely thick hair and has never seemed real happy with any of the haircuts he has received before... today yall got us right in when we arrived today, no waiting... Corey cut my sons hair. My son already had a picture ready to show of the design he wanted (this was the first time he ever asked for a design to be shaved in his head)... Corey did it all freehand and my son has walked around with the biggest smile all day since we left... Thank yall so much for the friendliness and fabulous customer service... yall have our business from now on!! Thank you!!

So glad we have a good place for the fellas to go get cleaned up in MJ! I used to drive to the Belmont area (The Moose) from Mt Juliet to find someone who could shape / maintain a thick beard and Im excited to have Brian and his crew right down the road. Ill definitely be a repeat customer!

The barbers at this shop are great! You feel very at home and welcomed. Yes I am a lady but was able to get my 20yr old son to go and they brought him from looking like a scruffy kid to a handsome young man with a great cut and clean up of the face. Thanks Brian!

Wonderful owner and barbers there!! Has a play room for the little kids and my son loves getting his hair cut here! If your in Mt.Mt.Juliet and need a great barber go here I promise you will become a regular
