wonderful hair experience. i was impressed upon entering as the entire shop is decorated in authentic retro design. i only waited around 5 minutes and had a really good selection of current magazines to flip through. when it was my turn i explained what i wanted and got exactly that. i was treated very kindly and the conversation was actually one i wanted to participate in. it was only $12 and i was inclined to tip very will for the the entire experience. i highly recommend this shop and will be visiting again myself.

When I found Patty I knew this would be the person who would cut my hair for the rest of the time I live in Nashville. Shell always talk to you about anything so time flies by and you leave feeling great. Ill sometimes specify what I want, and shell end up going a different way. For a few seconds Im frustrated, but then I realize that shes a visionary and knows mens hair way better than I ever will - even when I comes to my own. Now I just go with her judgement. And she always remembers her regulars.

Ive been going to Patty for over 10 years to get my hair cut, and I wouldnt dream of going anywhere else! Shes efficient, super friendly, gives a great haircut, and doesnt charge you a ridiculous price for it (Id actually happily pay more than she charges). I dont know what Ill do if she ever decides to close up shop!

Absolutely terrific! She gives the best haircut in town at a great price, is always friendly, and finished the cut by lathering your neck and cleaning you up with a straight edge. Hands down my favorite barber ever.

My who family goes to Patty at Family Barber Shop. We enjoy sitting in the antique barber chairs and looking at her collection of antique barber utensils. She is very popular so there is always a bit of a wait.

She is by far the best barber in Nashville for the price. I havent been to the gucci places that cost $45+ so Im not sure of the comparable quality, but Patty is really really good.
