When I first moved to Tennessee from LA two years ago I BARELY made it. My car broke down the day after I arrived, and it was beyond repair. I ended up buying from a used dealer a month later. On my way back from the lot my battery died. I replaced it. A week later, my starter went out. I replaced it. After that, because of the service fees and the issues with the mechanics at one of the main brand places (I won’t say who) I prayed for a bit of help regarding these horrendous car issues. A week later I was given the number to a guy named “Peter”. I took a risk, as I didn’t know him. I’m so glad I did, because this ended up being one of the biggest blessings in my life! Peter has done some of the best and most quality work I have ever had—and I’ve had car troubles all my life. You know how when you talk about your day, and most people kind of just nod along until it’s their turn to speak? BUT, when you meet that awesome person who REALLY listens to your woes and worries, it’s simply amazing? Well, Peter is that mechanic. Every time I’d have car troubles he’d listen thoroughly, ask detailed questions, and do whatever it took to help me out. And his prices? UNBEATABLE. He has always been fair with every price, and has even shown me the costs, where he got them from, and always calls me BEFORE he does more than the initial cost agreed upon to make sure that works for me. There are few with such great communication, customer service, quality work, and a humble and enjoyable personality as Peter and the rest of his crew! I’ve been coming to him for over 2 years now, and plan on doing so for the rest of my life. I also recommended him to anyone who wants the BEST mechanical work at the BEST prices. P.S: Did I mention my mechanical problems became less and less the more Peter worked on it? It feels like he ACTUALLY fixed the car, which is something I can’t say for most shops I’ve been to.

Incredible. I was told by a mechanic in Spring Hill, (on beechcroft) that I would need a new computer for my 99 Buick LaSabre because the TPS was not getting enough voltage and the car would not shift out first gear and the check engine light was on. He told me all this without even looking at the car. I called Peter for a second opinion. He came over the next day (because I wasnt going to home the same day I called him) and quickly diagnosed the car. He said the voltage was fine, and he wanted to try something. He makes a small adjustment on the TPS, resets the code and thats all it took. No parts needed, No need to take the car anywhere, No need to order a NEW COMPUTER !!!!! Peter is Honest, and extremely friendly. He does not overcharge and most of all, he is very knowledgeable ! I paid $30 for my repair and my car is back on the road. The other guy was going to charge me $200 for the computer alone and thats not including the labor and whatever else he was going to charge. From Now on I will only deal with Peter. He Is our New Mechanic.

I usually do most car maintenance/repairs myself but I had an A/C problem that I could not easily fix myself and did not want to spend the money on specialty tools and parts to diagnose and fix it. I dropped off my vehicle at Petrs house/shop and he called me later that day with the diagnostic which was a bad compressor clutch and explained my options to fix it. Petr ended up replacing the A/C compressor, dryer, and refilling the system with refrigerant. He later found out that the expansion valve was bad and had to replace that as well. He charges actual part prices (not over inflated prices like most shops) and he charges a fair rate for labor. My A/C is blowing colder than ever!!

My mom had car trouble and was stranded in the Spring Hill area. We had a decent idea of what the issue was (starter motor trouble), so we hoped it wouldnt be a costly fix. We called Autokanic and talked to Peter who was able to stop by later that afternoon. He was prompt in arriving and accurately diagnosed the issue as a severed battery cable that we hadnt even noticed. He was able to replace and sturdily repair it, was very pleasant to work with the entire time, and charged a very reasonable rate for what was excellent service. Would highly recommend this service to anyone!

Petr is the best! In my busy schedule as a faculty member, I had little time to help my mom, "gramma," with the engine light that went on. I was able to get it hooked up to a machine and found it was the fuel pressure sensor-- something I could not do myself in the driveway. Then, I gave gramma a list of folks to call for an estimate. Petr was the best price for labor by far. I drove there, and he brought gramma and me home. Three hours later, he called and said, he would just bring the car back to the house with the help of his brother. Autokanic is the best!

Petr is fantastic! Called him up, told him what I thought it might be. He called me back after telling me hed look up parts and get back to me. He wont just quote you a price and let you bring it in to find out that you owe him a thousand dollars more, which is SO nice. The work was fantastic and everything I have done, if I dont do myself, goes straight to him! I recommend people to Autokanics all the time! If you want someone who will give you fair pricing, and wont tell you wrong or haggle with it, take it to Petr! You wont be sorry!!!

This was my 1st experience with Autokanic, and it was excellent! Petr was very helpful and easy to work with. He gave very fair prices and he seemed to have a lot of experience. He even helped get me the right parts I needed when a certain auto parts stores website lead me down the wrong path. This is one of the rare "good guys" left in the mechanic world! Work is solid, price is very fair, and he gives great advice for what else you may need. I recently had to re do a lot of the fro t end of my car and he actually saved me money on parts by telling me what didnt need to be replaced (what other shop will tell you NOT to spend more money?!?!) Petrs work is awesome, his family is very nice as well (his wife was so sweet to my 3 yr old son!), and I recommend him highly!

Excellent Service and communication throughout the whole repair. Had my truck suspension repaired in one day. Great rates on the repair, better than anyone else in town by a long shot.I will only deal with Autokanic from this point forward as long as I am in the area. Thanks for the great repair Peter.

I needed a mechanic late in the day on a weekend, and he went out of his way to fix my truck after hours. I found him online and saw he had all positive feedback and I can see why! I would recommend any family or friend to use him if needed. He will be sure to get future service from me.
