Act Ones environment is no good for the kids and not for the parents either! The teachers are inexperienced and after an entire season of dance practice the girls look like they were barely taught anything in class (with the exception of how to play "freeze dance"). All they seem to be interested in is collecting their money for overpriced poor quality costumes and recital fees. And after all that expense nearly 20% of the audience at the recital was left standing all the way in the back barely able to see their kids. Basically if you are NOT one of their competition girls you mean nothing to them but income. Finally I find the owner extremely RUDE and the other staff members are as well. They could definitely use a little more structure and organization. Dance is supposed to be a "FUN" experience for our girls and in the end it just turned out to be a huge headache for the kids and the parents alike. UGH. Cant wait to seek out a new dance studio.

The owner is aweful and very very rude....girls dont learn anything and if you ever say anything owner gets an attitude with you....wow I thought I was paying her costumes are very expensive and you wont even get the right size and if you try to get the right size she tells you if you can do better go get it yourself all in all it is a big waist of money unless you want your daughter to be a professional freeze dance player.....lol...what a joke dont waist your money you have been warned by me and many others on here.

Act one dance is the best place to go! The teachers are great and care about your future as a dancer! I am on the diamond competition team and I love it all the people that go there to dance are so nice and we are all really good friends. My favorite part about act one is how we are all a family even though you might get an emmarising critique every now and then Mrs. Janet, Mrs.Brittney, and Mrs.Briana are all sooooo amazing! I danced at Act One Dance Studio for almost 8 years, and did not have a good experience. The teachers were rude and pushy. If you werent in competitive dancing, the teachers did everything to make you join it. But I did not join it and the teachers told me I wasnt as good as the competitive girls if I didnt join. I was tired of their rudeness and expensive prices, so I am now going to a new dance studio, and never returning to Act One.

Our girls love Act One! We are not on their team and have no plans to join. The teachers love my girls. They have not only been taught proper technique but have been encouraged to love the art of dance. We have danced here for 9+ years and have never had any of the experiences described below. We arrive at the recital in a timely manner and have never had an issue with seating. Our experince has been a positive one.

I absolutely adore Act One they are my family Im there almost every night the owner Mrs Janet is great I love talking to her ..... This is my 8th year hear and I have so much fun they encourage you to be better and push u to ur best . And this the my 2nd year on the competition team ! Im hoping maby next year Ill get to do a solo
