Being unemployed has been a very scary and anxiety filled experience. Just recently I went through another employment agency to gain employment with a particular company in town. I was not aware that multiple agencies hired for this company. At the other employment agency, I had a bad, inexcusable experience. At the other company, I was given misinformations which lead to a month of unemployment, and I had to constantly call for information and updates. I finally had enough, and I learned that Express was hiring for the company I was trying to gain employment with as well. Working with Express (Lubbock location) has been a wonderful experience! Everyone, from the front desk to the staffing specialists in the back, greeted me with kindness, a smiling face, and eager to help me. Everyone was ready and willing to do what it took to ensure I gained employment. My staffing specialist (Emily Lowery) did a phenomenal job working for me to get me into the job I wanted. In a months time, the other staffing agency couldnt get me any answers and they would rarely answer my calls. I was always the one to initiate contact with them. But with Emily and Express Personnel, she has taken care of everything in less than 48 hours that the other staffing agency couldnt complete in over a month! She went way above and beyond any expectation that I had, and she was an absolute pleasure to work with. I would recommend her, and Express, to anyone and everyone looking to gain employment. They are the best!

I unfortunately have to agree with those that have also written reviews. My experience with Express does make me wonder as well...last spring i actually went into their local office and submitted my application and was told to expect an email for testing...never received it. When i called to inquire about the email staff swore up and down that it had been received. Well about two months later i received a call from Express...when i returned call the lady swore up and down that she never called. Well they posted a position locally and i against my better judgement submitted a resume...about a week after i once again received a call...i returned the call within a matter of minutes and was told they had no idea who could have called. I left message..and here a week later call has not been returned. Very unprofessional and appears to be the way they conduct business. I have a very strong employment history and must say the "non response" really makes you question their validity as a business

I have responded to job postings on several occasions with these people. Within the business day, I receive a "standard" email informing me that I am not qualified for any job through their service. I have years of office experience, managerial experience, food and beverage experience, Ive owned my own company, and I have a Texas Life and Health insurance license. I have a clear background and good references. My daughter has had the same experience with Express. It really makes me wonder if they actually have jobs, or if theyre just posting some bogus stuff to make it appear as if they have a lot of jobs? I dont even look at jobs Express has posted anymore. My advice and opinion is to pass these guys up. There are other legitimate employment agencies in Lubbock.

I LOVE everything about Express Employment Professionals! The application process was super easy, and the interview process was even better! I met with Savannah and she was absolutely AWESOME! As sweet as she can be, very professional, and EXTREMELY helpful! I hadnt even had my application in for a week and they already had me working a job! Not just a minimum wage job either! Their jobs actually pay really decent amounts of money! I am so thankful for Savannah and the rest of the staff at Express! My struggle is no longer a struggle and I have Express to thank for that! If you need help finding employment this is definitely the place to go!

This use to be a great help but now theres nothing but little girls that talk like valley girls that are not even there to help you. Try job searching online or on Craigslist, better than this place for sure.
