I am an overly critical person. The larger girl asked me if I was ready, when I sat down she took another 5 minutes to set up her station. Seems like that should be ready before you sit a customer down. When she was using scissors on the top she would let the handle fall, smack me in the head, then snip. This happened over 20 times. By the 5th I was annoyed. By the end I was resolved to write this review. She also smelled like cigarettes pretty heavy. Some kind of perfume or something to cover it up would be appreciated. After I sat down the only time she talked was to ask what I wanted and how did it look at the end. Zero conversation. I think the establishment is good and the rest of the employees were fun and talkative. I just had a bad experience with the one girl.

I had been trying to find a decent barber since coming back to Texas over two years ago with no luck. Ive been to Brownies, the Boardroom, etc., and always got good haircuts, but never what I asked for. Even after finding Vintage, it wasnt until I sat in Lisas chair that I got the haircut I was looking for. She went through every tool in her arsenal, not shying away from anything (some barbers seem to have an aversion to using thinning shears on shorter hair, even when asked directly). My hair grows in about seven different directions, and I didnt need to ask Lisa to correct anything. She got it right the first time. If youre in the area, or even if youre not, you really cant go wrong coming here!

This is the best place in town. Im someone who is very picky about my hair and am continually changing my style and Holly always does an awesome job! Holly not only cuts my hair but my 2 year old as well. Its great to go to a place that remembers you by name in a fast paced world. Thanks Holly, Penny, Tiffany, Lisa & Audrey you guys are the best!

Holly and Penni do an incredible job! Always come out of there with a great haircut and everyone there is incredible with kids as well. Since I found them 5 years ago, I havent had my hair cut anywhere else. Great family atmosphere and much better/friendlier service than you will find anywhere else.....try them and youll be a customer for life!

Bad I have been growing my hair for a year I went in to get a haircut and they ruined it I had to cut all my hair off because the girl in there did not know what she was doing I dont know how a business can have an incompetent employee like that very upset will never go back again This is a warning if you want your hair ruined go here

This is an easy going joint, and the best haircuts around; once youve been there a few times, almost all of the girls know your name and say "hi insertnamehere" as soon as you walk in the door. Tiffany usually cuts my hair, she knows what works and what doesnt...and shes great at fixing bad haircuts that I get while Im on travel.

Been going here for years, always great service and a great cut. I have seen this place grow as a small business and its good to see a local mom and pop type shop succeed in the middle of many chain places of hair cuttery. My only complaint is that they are typically busy busy busy, but worth the wait nevertheless.

Iv always gotten my cuts in the hood, simply because places in the hood go that extra mile to give great cuts that most places dont do.... Then I tried VINTAGE! Great cuts and they pay attention to detail. Not to mention they edge you up with a straight razor and a massage to top it off... Great job, ladies!!

This barbershop is a throw back to the old days! They offer hot shaves! The shop is family owned and you get the full treatment. They even give you a hot towel and a massage at the end. Not to mention I got a great haircut. I would recomend this shop to anyone who is looking for the real deal.

Great place to get a haircut. Glad to have found it. I am very particular about how I want my haircut, I know most people are but you dont understand, I am ex military, so I am really particular about my haircut, and this is one of the very few places that I feel comfortable to go.

Visiting friends in Mansfield and needed a haircut. Decided to stop in to this little place. Absolutely loved it. The ambiance was comfy. Holly and Tiffany were super friendly and Holly did a perfect job on my hair. Would definitely come back again. HIGHLY recommend!

My husband and my sons LOVE Vintage Barbershop! Holly has definitely created a comfortable setting with an "old school approach - complete with hot towels and massage. Highly recommended. You wont be disappointed. Their customer service is second to none!

BEST PLACE EVER!!! These girls are amazing at what they do! We have had nothing but amazing experiences here! My husbands hair grows weird and they know exactly how to do it to his liking. Its also nice to be able to get my hair done in the same place!!

If you cannot do a haircut you shouldnt attempt it. Asked for a simple hard part hair cut and ended up looking like the worst cut I have ever gotten. Now Ive got to walk around my customers with a hat looking like a fool. Very disappointed

The two ladies that own this shop are super nice and do a great job cutting hair. You always get a hot towel and shoulder massage, and theyll even do a full face shave like they did in the old days. Highly recommended.

It was an okay service. No appointment needed. Walk in friendly. Showed the girl what I wanted. she was on the phone handling life situations. Its fine, life happens. Overall result was doable . Left a tip.

If youre looking for a great barber with minimal wait and a fair price come here! Everyone is always so friendly and they do a great work. I normally see Penny or Holly but the other barbers are great also.

Very nice atmosphere... this place is a good looking barbershop. My haircut was great and they shaved the back of my neck with hot shave foam and a razor! I highly recommend.
