I dont usually stop to leave reviews...but...One word: AMAZING! Ill never visit another hair salon or beauty bar in SATX as long as RoyalT is around. They even have a little shop next door for cute clothing, accessories, shoes, etc--all in fashion! On my first visit, Devontae listened to my concerns/desires and absolutely slayed my (super damaged) natural mane. Her fingers were magic in the shampoo bowl and she suggested a reasonably priced add-on steam treatment that felt amazing on my scalp. She then trimmed my fried ends perfectly and made sure my sew in w/closure was 110% on-point before she let me out of her chair. Best part? She answered all of my questions & offered me tons of advice on how to best care for my new 4C fro throughout the entire appointment. The salon overall was above reproach. It was clean, offered refreshments and had a professional but fun/relaxed atmosphere with minimal wait time. The products they use are great for thirsty natural hair like mine! All of Devontaes coworkers were just as friendly and personable as she was, and I had a great time just listening to the conversation. I also noticed that this isnt just another "black hair care salon". Their clients included children and adults of different ages, ethnicities and hair types--RoyalT slayed them all! My favorite was a little girl who came in for her back to school cut and left looking like a princess! I dont remember the stylists name, but he was soooo good with her. Will definitely be back, and with my son as well. Thanks again for such an amazing first experience!!!

I went there and asked for my tracks to be replaced. First off, when she removed my old tracks, she didnt use any bond remover or oil to loosen the bonder. She just shampooed my hair and snatched the tracks out! Im not a hair stylist and even I know that not the correct way to remove them. Second, I wanted a A-symetrical look (salt n pepa look). She made my bangs really thin and I looked like Alice from the Brady Bunch! I was told to go to the East side of San Antonio to find a better stylist! Near E. Houston and New Brunfels!! I shoulda known something was wrong when I walked in and they werent all that busy ON A SATURDAY, and the ladies that were in there accoutned to about 2 or 3!

Ugh, I made a appointment to go there for my wedding day. The person I made the appointment with didnt show for my appointment on my wedding day. I had told them I didnt like the service I received from one of the stylists before and guess who they paired me with? I had no choice because it was just hours before I said I Do. I was so disappointed with my style. She cut my hair too short and it was nothing special for my special day. Dont even think about a consultation or pre-wedding style, they dont do it. Ill never go there again.

If you want your hair to look good, check out this salon and give it a try. Once you come, you wont want to go anywhere else. I am very particular about who does my hair and I can say that my hair is so healthy and beautiful because of Toni. Shout out to all the stylists at the House of Royal T Beauty Bar. Ive been going to House of Royal T for almost 2 years now since I moved to the area. I had the same hairstylist forever so I was terrified of moving to a new place and having to find a new stylist. Toni is the absolute best. I was pleased to have hit the jackpot with my first visit. Its been almost 2 years and I wouldnt dare let anyone else do my hair. The salon is beautiful, shes knowledgeable, dependable and has a great personality.

Drea took personal time out of her day to stay late when I had a hair emergency and not only did she fix my hair she helped me be able to maintain as well. My next appt she agreed to come in early for me because my work schedule was hectic and again she gave the best if her service. Everyone here is very friendly and welcoming as well

I went there about three weeks ago and told the stylist I want my hair curly and she said okay, She knew just what to do, She got done and my hair wasnt even curly and Now my hair is FALLING OUT.
