I have been a student of BallroomUtah Dance Studio since 2008 and I highly recommend this dance studio to beginners through advanced students, people of all ages, couples/singles and wedding couples, too. As a long time professional health and physical education teacher I respect the high level of dance skills AND teaching ability that the staff possess. BallroomUtah instructors have the perfect blend of professionalism, talent and insight in order to teach to the level of their students, all the while challenging them to be the best that they can be. I often take private lessons from Martin Skupinski, who has properly prepared me for dance sport competitions, where I have consistently improved my skills and my placements at these competitions. For example, recently at the Nevada Star Ball in Las Vegas, I was proud of the 3 first and 1 second place award that we earned as Pro-Am Open Bronze level competitors! In addition, I can speak for all of the other instructors who I have worked with one-on-one and/or taken group instruction from...they are the BEST! Also, regularly attending the Friday evening practice parties I have improved my social dance skills and found a great deal of joy in the process. Finally, as a teacher myself, I must say that there is one very creative method that our instructors use that I really appreciate. We will often view dance-specific websites on the internet so that I can watch perfect examples of the dance steps that I am learning be performed by a couple. This is a fantastic teaching tool that has proven to be very helpful. BallroomUtah has brought a new richness to my life

This place was great! I was very skeptical at first cause of the location and the how it looked from the outside. That famous phrase has time and time again bitten me in the butt. "Dont judge a book by the cover". So true. So my wife and I came to this place with a group of people from my ward. The elders quorum actually went and set it all up for us. So we came and had a 1 to 1.5 hour of instruction on how to ballroom dance. We learned the basic steps and the rest of the time was freelance dancing. The instructor was amazing. I never caught his name but he was really great. Great instructor with a lot of passion and great sense of humor. Got many of use guys to actually learn how to dance. Some of us learned quicker than others but it was all good. They even provided refreshments. How awesome was that! I think my wife and I will come back for more lessons. Thats how great the whole experience was.

Ballroom Utah is the premier dance studio along the entire Wasatch Front! The owner Martin Skupinski is an amazing dance instructor/teacher. My husband and I enjoy learning many new dance steps and routines from the excellent dance staff at Ballroom Utah. The social parties are so much fun. I recommend Ballroom Utah to all my friends!
