Other places in the area claim to bring back the old school barber club but LUX actually delivers. Steve and his wife outdid themselves. They turned their dream into a reality and transformed one of Burlingtons oldest buildings into a top notch barbershop. Steve, who owns the shop, has an appreciation for tradition establishments and services and wants to share that with others. He believes that a barbershop is a place to bring communities together and thats how he makes you feel. Like you belong. The atmosphere is great, everyone goes out of their way to make you feel welcome and you can even have a beer during your haircut. The place looks amazing but what makes is special is that their prices really connect with the neighborhood. I would have paid more and historically I have but this place is about making sure everyone in Burlington can experience the LUX service. Not something other businesses consider. Ive been seeing Steve for a while now and have NEVER had a bad haircut. He takes his time and we have great conversations. If your looking for a awesome haircut go see the guys at Lux!

I just got married and worked with Steve over the last two months to perfect the look I wanted for the big day. Steve was thoughtful and insightful with his recommendations, pointing out different perspectives and making recommendations that took the wedding into account. (ie. most photos were of the back of my head, so having a sharp lineup is more important than normal). The day before I came in for my final cut and brought all of my groomsmen. We all got fresh cuts, with the same care and consideration that Id come to expect from Steve. He was friendly, inviting and cheerful during the entire time we were there. With everything else that was going on the day before the wedding, this was one thing I didnt have to worry about. Steve was able to make the entire group look great and having just seen the photos, I know my trust was well placed. I wholeheartedly recommend Steve and his team for your next haircut.

I recently discovered Lux and am absolutely blown away. They are the most modern and skilled (rare combination) barbershop I have found around here. You can book online, pay with a card and even leave a tip on the card. The barbershop is very modern, with huge TVs all around, with complimentary coffee & beer. Apart from the shop and the business model making this place awesome, the people make it amazing. Steve, Ashley and Jeremy are very friendly and make you feel right at home. Steve is my guy and is a true master of his craft. Thanks again for the best cut & customer service! Rock on.

I went to this shop to get my undercut shaped up, and as soon as I walked in I felt very welcome. Barber shops are typically known for mens hair cuts, but the times have changed and Lux barber shop is clearly all about it! Not only did I recieve a fresh cut that exceeded anyone Ive gone to in the past - the environment was neutral, the team clearly is passionate about what they do and I didnt feel weird walking in as a female asking for a shape up..... Thats what they call "A1!"

This place sucks. Never going back. They should get closed down or hire professionals. My Boy friend went in to get a shape up and girl who works there messed up his hair and told him hes needy , (are you serious, very unprofessional) place , if someone pays for something they should receive what they paid for not get told their needy after messing up a HAIR CUT at that..

Steve and I have a deal when I come into the shop, I usually wait until Im as grizzly as possible and give him free reign to do whatever he wants; Ive never been disappointed. The shop is in a great location, has all the amenities youd expect from a quality barber shop, reasonable prices, and talented barbers. Its absolutely worth stopping in for a cut.

Amazing energy! A REAL Barber Shop with modern conveniences you expect! The staff is amazingly talented with percussion skill...oh...hot shaving cream, hot towels and shaves with a straight razor...like I said a REAL Barber Shop.
