I love Ulta and all of the products they offer and the fact that this store is so close to my house. But the last few times Ive gone in there, everything is in disarray. Theres a lot of unstocked products and Ive noticed a lot on the shelves are broken and opened already. The Ulta brand makeup was so messy. I was trying to pick out blush and was looking at the samples they had out to sample but couldnt figure where to locate the correct color i would of bought because the colors werent labeled. And nothing was in correct place. The lighting in there is also horrible for a store where being able to picl out the correct colors is important. When I was there yesterday looking for a hairbrush that was advertised in the ad, there were many associates that just walked by me and didnt offer any assistance. Also, when I was looking at makeup in the section that offers the higher end products, a lot of the products were in the wrong place or they simply were not there. Also was not offered any assistance in this area either. This needs store needs a lot of work and more attention paid to the products and shelves and the customers too! Very messy store!

Im a Platinum member at Ulta, and although I do most of my shopping online, I do go into my Ulta store in Everett, WA from time to time. When I went there last week for the It cosmetics brush that was on sale for the 21 days of beauty sale, it was sold out, so I decided to browse for a while and possibly get something else. But as I was shopping an Ulta employee was literally following me everywhere! and every time I looked up she would all of a sudden start looking in whatever mirror was closest to her like she was fixing her makeup, the whole thing was just ridiculous. I know she needs to do her job, but she was wayyyy overdoing it, and making my feel extremely uncomfortable, and I don;t think anyone should ever feel like that in an Ulta store, especially when said person is a Platinum member so obviously spends a lot of money at Ulta. I really just hope this doesnt continue to happen to myself, or anyone else that shops at the Everett Ulta.

Their salon ruined my hair. I had shoulder length thick beautiful hair and I came in asking for a youthful lob with a same length cut all the way around. I even brought pictures that I showed her, that showed exactly what I wanted. Instead I left the salon with a thinned, layered bob that settles into an awful cube shape around my head. I look like a 2007 mother going through an exstitsential crisis whos probably late to picking up her kids and definitely wants to speak to the manager. All thats left to complete it would be chunky blonde streaks, cheap oversized sunglasses and being on the verge of divorce. Not exactly the haircut a highschool senior wants. The layers go halfway up my head for christ sake. Wouldnt come back to their salon even if it were free. The stylist cared more about chatting with her coworker and eyeing the clock waiting for her shift to be over than she did about listening to her client and doing a halfway event job.

The actual store was decent, it provided lots of materials, but the staff was incredibly RUDE. They accused my friend and I of shoplifting. There was this women that was obviously a staff member posing as a customer because they literally followed us around the whole store, yet they never grabbed a single item. Once we left the store after buying our items just to prove that we werent shoplifting, we noticed the "customer" (staff) staring us down before going into the staff room then telling a security guard to watch over us. Overall, our experience was horrible, and we felt really uncomfortable in the store. I would not recommend this particular store to a friend.

Incredibly rude staff. Young man working as a sales rep openly judged my mother and sisters for what they were wearing and made snide comments to his coworkers about us as we were standing there. He then implied we were shoplifting and that security needed to be called. His incredibly rude, holier than thou attitude is why we will never come back to to this Ulta ever again. My family and I have all worked in retail or food service before so we understand how working with the general public can be awful, but nothing we did warranted the attitude. The comments he made and the way he treated us should get him fired. Not okay.

Absolutely horrible. Avoid the Ulta Salon at all costs. The staff are unfriendly and act as if theyre more superior than you. Ive never had a bad experience at Ulta until I started going to their salon. I have naturally black hair and Ive been trying to go ash blonde for years now. Everytime Ive come here to lighten my hair theyve managed to turn it darker than how I arrived.

Snap shot of my experience this afternoon: was cut off three times asking legitimate questions by the two associates working the middle of the floor. Maybe its because its Saturday or the area but the retail associates are definitely extra guarded. I will be shopping at the Lynnwood location only from now on. On the upside, the girl that rung me up was very sweet and friendly.

I like the large selection of products. Customer service is not great. Twice I came in needing help and could not find anyone. Another time I found someone but she was being publicly shamed by who I assume was a manager. I will continue going here only if I cant make it to Sephora at Alderwood.

Stopped in to look for hair dye. Associates were unhelpful and rude. Blatantly ignored until I said hi to the sales lady. Then she became personable. Not impressed and I dont intend to return.

Only problem I found here was that they need to update their prices. It gives you one price where the item is located and comes up with a different price at the register.
