I am astonished by the anger Sarah shows when shes upset with her clients. It was very clear Sarah was extremely upset about the amount of decorations to be placed at the ceremony site. My husband volunteered to hang up items that would be needed. I arrived with him to be told by Sarah that she was not given any info, from the bride ,as to how to decorate the ceremony site. While explaining this to me shes showing me the pictures that the bride had sent her. While Sarah and her assistant were unloading the car, I the mother of the groom was re putting stakes into the ground to hold hanging flower balls. For a wedding event planner..... at what time do you let a bride, bridesmaid, mother, grooms mother know that you dont have the info you need to set up the ceremony site. Im assuming days before not 1 1/2 hrs before they walk down the aisle. So I thank you for stressing me out, who was only coming down to quickly hang up a few things and leave . Than lie to the mother in law 1 1/2 hrs b4 the ceremony, knowing i can not ask the bride to be whats going. Sarah failed to tell guest to line up with their ribbon wands or bubbles for photo ops. Complete photo moment failure. We should have saved the money and since I was there just decorated myself. But on the final drop off day for the ceremony decorations, Sarah you were out of line. You yelled at the bride who was explaining the pictures and decorations, that you just wanted to know items so you could do a detail list in your computer. I was there, i thought you were unprofessional. I was told by the bride that you had just recieved a letter from a client/ business dropping you. You were crying and upset. But, my dear you do not take that out on customers. Also, if there was too many decorations, you should have been more clear on that. Same as the umbrellas were only in case it rained, not for people to keep. Questions Im assuming all wedding planners ask brides. So the planner knows what the brides are thinking, wanting and doing. But to be angry and upset and let it show, very unprofessional. I hope this critique helps you understand customers, yourself and your business better.

I contacted Sarah less than two weeks before my wedding at the Garfield Park Conservatory. She immediately took over and contacted all my vendors, made a schedule, met with me a few days after I called her to walk through the venue, etc. She even picked up everything I needed (cakes) and held all of my reception items (guestbook, birdcage etc) overnight because the venue would not store anything for us. On the day of, she set up everything at the venue and whipped all of the vendors into shape. She literally saved my life and I would recommend Sarah to any of my friends and maybe even an enemy. I would love to give more than 5 stars. Thank you for everything Sarah!!!

Sarah is a great asset to have for planning and executing small weddings. My wife and I were on a small budget and we wanted to have a Christian and a Hindu wedding. She worked with us months in advance to visit the venues, plan the layouts, and order and rent supplies to us. On the wedding days, she set up everything and kept an eye on the refreshments and vendors that came by. She even noticed that our caterer for one of the ceremonies did not bring one of the entrees and called them up to get the food delivered. I would definitely recommend Sarah for extra help with a wedding - it really saved us a lot of stress!
