We have been going to el pollo loco for many years but have never been to this one. They were not busy when we got there just us and another couple. As we entered the floors were disgusting, then we heard a loud sound that sounded like a woman giving birth. 3 times we heard this, I asked the woman at the register to please check on the loud screaming. She seemed to know what it was and was embarrassed. She looked around for help then a male employee came around the corner from where the screaming was and then it stopped. Odd!!! The Teas were horrible! And the salsa bar was a mess! We got home with our chicken meal opened the box to find two withered jerky like pieces of chicken. 1 thigh 1 drum stick no meat. Then I opened the pinto beans to find all liquid maybe 5 beans. It was close to 9:00 pm when we went. This is my first bad review!

Went for lunch and tried their shrimp combos. The taste wasnt good. the shrimp was too salty. It wasnt even warm. Quantity was good, but it does not matter when quality and taste are bad for me. Quality - 1 star Taste - 1 star Quantity- 4 star I always wanted to try this place as it looked authentic from outside and I see it daily to my work. Very disappointing experience on my visit. Some of the rice was actually hard and dried. Did not expected that quality at all. I think I would not try again. May be a bad day to try and my expectation were high.

Super Gross. I stopped here for lunch today and found a lovely surprise in my Black Bean Chicken Bowl: 3 RANDOM PILLS! They had been cooked with either the broccoli or rice (a black bean substitute) and had started to disintegrate so I couldnt tell what they where. The GM wasnt there, but they gave me my money back. Lucky I didnt eat any. God knows how many other people where served rice/broccoli from the same batch. Ugh.

I come here often - - like 2-3 times a week. The food is fresh, and always very good. If EPL expects to grow this location, they are going to have to smarten up and liven up the staff though. I dont ever feel welcomed as a guest; the recipes are OFTEN prepared incorrectly (wrong ingredients), and portion size is never the same (a real disappointment when theyre smaller than they should be.

This location is always awesome - great food, great service, and clean. More than once theyve been overly accommodating for one reason or another (tonight, we ordered a 12 piece family meal but had to wait 15 minutes for the sides due to a lack of hot water - they gave us 50% off for waiting!). This is definitely our go-to place when we want El Pollo (which is often!).

Awesome service, great food. We put in a huge order using the 10 piece chicken dinners (100 pcs). They had a special. They gave us the chicken, five BOWLs of different kinds of salsa, a tray of chips, plates, forks, napkins, hand wipes, mints, and packed it all in a sturdy box. I was more than satisfied and everyone LOVED the food!

Went here 2 days ago there were two employees making out by the back door. And I mean they were all over eat other disgusting. They should both be fired and on top of that when I went through the drive thru the girl I believe her name was Brittany was extremely rude! What is wrong with this place!?!?

Upon walking into this empty Gilbert location on a Sunday evening, I was disgusted by the condition and filth. The employees other than the cook were standing around and talking. I have been to this location before and it seems to be worse with each visit.

The burritos at this location are extremely small compared to other locations. The flavors seem to be off as well. I am Very disappointed with this location and I will not return, I rather drive further to the gilbert and baseline pollo loco.

Wow! I love Pollo Loco Chicken! But this location ripped me off. Bought a 10 piece and a couple tacos for $30, got 4 wings with no meat at all, 2 of the thighs had no skin. Tacos were soggy and very little chicken. Not going back!

They got rid of the shrimp!!! They got rid of the shrimp!!! I guess I cant complain a out "crazy chicken" not selling shrimp... The three stars was for the service as staff and management we not helpful. Food was fine though...

Chicken tasted good, too bad it was not hot. Salsas were not refilled. Other customers were trying to scrape what ever was left on bowls. Seemed employees were just to busy to put more salsas out, even after mentioning it.

Been looking forward to eating here for a long time. The commercials tell a good story. Chicken was very dry, even the dark meat. Service was fast fast but food didnt hold up to the commercial hype. Not a Fan!!!!
