Im a retired military soldier. Haircuts are nothing new but a good haircut is. I believe the test for a military barber consists of correctly identifying a pair of scissors 3 out of 5 times. I decided to try Goodfellas on a whim and though Im used to paying only about $15 for a cut I bit the bullet and walked in. Ash greeted me and walked me to his chair, where everything was immaculate. We talked about what I wanted, he made some suggestions and I said okay. I wasnt rushed in and out. He took his time and then shampooed my hair. I love that part because otherwise I go straight home and wash to get all the clippings off me. He shaved my neck perfectly with hot lather and bingo! I just got my best cut in about 30 years...maybe even in my life I just cant recall that long ago. The little massage was kind of lame but I went in for a haircut and got the best. Thank you Ash! I could try another barber next time but cant think why I would? Ash is now my barber. If you havent been convinced to try them I just cant add to a great experience. Call for an appointment weekdays or walk-in on Saturday. I plan on getting a shave soon as Ive never had another person shave me. I do tire of it and I look forward to sitting back and letting them shave my face carefully.

I tried all barbers at that shop to make fair judgment, but I did not find any barber at this barbershop who can do proper fade. All the barbers bad and always rush to finish haircut. My worst attempt has been with Victoria. She pretending that she know how to do fade but she is not. My coworkers been joking about my haircut, my family and kids make jokes as well. At one point I went there to fix haircut, but the guy who try to fix was not happy.. It is unprofessional barbershop. Never go there, they will charge you $23 and force you to shampoo the hair. After you pay $30 with tip your hair will look like you came back from Great Clips. Scottsdale has a lot of other choices that stands above this Barbershop.

I went in today for a shave and a haircut. While I was getting my shave the barber cut my face just below my lip. I started to bleed and bled for a while despite his attempts to stop the bleeding. After we finished and I continued to bleed he gave me a paper towel to hold on my face as we went to the cash register to pay my bill. He charge me full price even though I was still applying pressure to stop the bleeding. $45 for a shave and a haircut and a face cut? Bad form. If I were him I would have either not have charged for the shave or at least given half off. My face is still bleeding as I write this sitting in the parking lot. Bad customer service. I will not be returning.

When Igot to this place, I met a guy name Elio. Very bad look he gave me. I told him that i moved to North Scottsdale and need a new place that i will come to every three weeks if done right. I also told him that I like to go to one barber, and he was the guy who messed up my haircut. I felt like a butcher cut my hair. 1st of all he was pretty rough on my head, mostly because he was in a hurry to get me out. 2nd of all, he smelled like he hadnt washed in a week, and smelled like a pig. His face was very sweaty, and his breath smelled like he had been smoking all day long. I was ready to jump of the chair, and i will never come back to that horrible butcher place.

Ive been to Goodfellas four times, been trimmed by three different barbers, and havent had a bad cut yet. They do great work, much better than you typically get elsewhere. Ive only had to wait once, but even then it was fun. I love the mob movie decor, the tvs, and music. If it were a bar, youd want to hang out there regularly. The services are great, the prices reasonable, the atmosphere cool, why would you want to go to a dingy shop elsewhere or a girlie salon?

This place is the best!!! There fades are amazing, no lines ever. They do exactly what you want the way you want it the first time. The hot towel and massage cant be beat as well. If you have time you can do the shave with a straight razor which is so relaxing and refreshing. Get the best of everything along with a good price. I have worked with Shayla and Sam and there expertise cant be beat. I will never go anywhere else for a haircut again.

Needed a trim before my Vegas trip and stopped by here. I wasnt even greeted when I walked in, I was confronted with a "what do you need?" I was in a rush so I proceeded anyways,blond lady cut my hair. After 15 minutes I was left with a bloody neck line and my hair looking worse than before. Terrible customer service, terrible employees, terrible haircut. I went to different barbershop to fix the mess. Avoid this place.

My husband just wanted a fade. Then you guys started adding stuff and doing things without even asking him. And he didnt know if that was just how you guys work your system....until when he went to pay and you guys charged him 52 bucks for a fade cut!! When his hair was short to begin with, never again over priced and pretty sneaky of you guys. And the fade was done terribly!

Went in for a fade and was not disappointed. Barbers were very friendly and talkative. Asked me if I wanted a beard trim as well which I declined. T.V.s were on each station but not loud enough to hear. Then again I didnt ask if they could turn them up either. $22 for a haircut and shampoo.

I have going to Same, the owner, since he was a barber at another shop many years back. His barber shop is clean, friendly, fairly priced and other than having to wait on a busy Saturday, a great customer experience. You wont find a nicer owner or a better haircut.

Took my cousins out to a great time with my good man Sam, the barber, for some hella great straight razor shaves. Great experience. Id rate it with ten stars, were that to be an option. Great atmosphere and clean, bottled water for free.

Wonderful traditional barber shop with professional barbers. It is a little difficult to find, look just North of the Islands restaurant.

My hair doesnt require much upkeep but these guys always do a great job! Very positive, relaxing atmosphere and always very quick too.
