So let me tell you that Ive lived by this place for a few years and paid it no mind until I found out it was owned by someone that a lot if my brothers (fraternity) go to and know personally. I have a tendency of going to a place and sticking to it. Well, normally I go to sportclips until I got the run around of when my favorite stylist would be there. 3 wasted trips there only to find I had been given the wrong info on when she would be there. 3 strikes and you are out in my book. So I was in dire need of a hair cut so I decided to look up Oskar (the owner) and see where his shop was. Low and behold, it was literally around the corner from where I lived. I decided to give Oskar a chance. Boy! Was I glad I did. Let me tell you folks, if your barber takes less than 30 minutes on your hair then you have the wrong barber... my cut was over an hour but im glad he took his time. Now I understand why good cuts take so long. Oskar took the time to consult with me and get ideas on what I wanted to do with my hair. During the cut, he would explain what he was doing so that I had a thorough understanding of what my hair was doing and why. He also made suggestions on what I should do and how I should style my hair. No one has ever done that... ever. Highly impressed by this mans work ethics and talent. Im so impressed, that Payan Styles Barber Shop is now my new barber! Thank you Oskar for being a cool dude and excellent barber. Now I see why my brothers highly recommended you. You wont be disappointed with your cut by Oskar.

I came from California , looking for a barbershop and after work stopped by to see how it was (since I worked right up the street) I was welcomed by Oskar, nice guy. I sat in his chair and we began to make convo like if Ive knowned him already before. I told him I wanted a medium razor fade and thats exactly what I got. He took his time and made me feel comfortable to the point where I was happy enough to keep coming over and over again. Hes the best barber in town and hes got good people skills. I came here for the 2 years that I was living in AZ. Unfortunately I moved back to Cali. But I highly recommend this barbershop to ANYONE and definitely worth every dollar. Oskar and his guys are the best. Best barbershop. Wish you guys the best in the future. If Im ever back in AZ Ill be sure to come to this spot!

Before finding this barbershop I went from one place to another because I was never satisfied with the way my hair looked after a haircut. I had heard a lot about Oskars place so I decided to give it a try and Im glad I did because Ive been going there ever since. He asked me what I wanted and gave me suggestions about how it would look better. He always takes his time with my haircut and makes sure Im satisfied with the outcome, even if it means going back and fixing little details. The wait can be a little long sometimes depending on when you go but its definitely worth it. Oskar provides top of the line haircuts and outstanding customer service.

Oskar and the gentlemen down at Payan Styles have been my go to for well over 3 years now and at this point I go here for more than just my cuts. The atmosphere in the shop is like non other and all the gentlemen welcome you in. Between the light jokes to the deep conversations, you will always leave with more than a good cut, at times even a new perspective on situations. That being said, I am in the process of moving to sedona and have every intention of making the drive down just to have my cut done right!

The barbers here are awesome. They take their time and really get it right. Ive seen them do some really creative, fun styles as well as plenty of the more common styles and they all look so good. You may wait a while on a busy day (Sat theres pretty much an hour wait all day), but they have TVs playing movies and the atmosphere in there is pretty chill anyhow. Highly recommend it!

I was recommended here by a friend and its the best barbershop Ive ever been to. The barbers are friendly and they really care about you. They really take the time to make sure you get the haircut you want and ask questions to make sure you will be fully satisfied. Hands down a barbershop every guy needs to check out, especially if you want a fresh fade.

Been coming here for a couple of years now. Everyones really friendly and you get greeted right when you walk in the door. Oskar, the owner, is one of the best barbers Ive known. Always have great conversations with him, its like talking to an old friend. Tip: if youre going on a Saturday, Id go around 2/3pm, once its died down from the morning rush.

Started going here a while back due to an incomplete haircut from another local shop...barbers got my hair right and still go here to this day. Great barbers and great atmosphere to be in. Multiple TVs keep you entertained while waiting. Would recommend to anyone who wants a clean, crispy cut!

This is one of those barber shops where you can sit down in the chair and they already know how you like your usual. Great hair cuts and I honestly dont go anywhere else. I will say I usually go on wednesdays to avoid any wait, but definitely well worth it.
