This place is right by my sons pre school we had an appointment to get family picture done that night so I wanted to get his hair cut. When I walked in that should have been my first clue to walk out. The front door was open and the lady that was inside must have just finished smoking because it smelt like smoke inside. The lady was on her cell phone, we walked in we saw each other, she was obviously busy, so we sat down, about a min later the lady asks my sons name, I have to repeat myself because she is still talking on her phone. She tells me someone will be with me in a min. When the other lady comes up she tells me we hadnt been there in a year (because last time he got a bad hair cut) she then asks me what size clippers to use. I told her I didnt know, to just give him a little boys hair cut; I wanted it in the same style it was in, just trimmed up a little... I told her we had pictures that night. Im not picky just as long as it looks good. Well when she was about done I asked her if she could make it look less like he was wearing a bowl on the back of his head... she couldnt... it was uneven all over, the hair above his forehead was cut the shortest, and she shaved up too high above one of his ears... This is the worst hack job he has ever had! The other lady actually had someone sitting in her chair, I don’t think she wanted to be rude so she walked outside... on the phone, when she came back in, she says “hold on I have one more call to make”. I wanted someone to fix my sons hair but she was in no position to cut hair either! Now this morning I’m going to try to find someone to fix his hair, the cheap price isn’t worth it if you just have to turn around and pay double.

As a guy with relatively short hair i have had great experiences here. People have to remember that they are doing what you ask them for. I understand it may seem like it is their fault BUT you are telling them what to do. You might have a great idea of this haircut in your mind but that doesnt mean you can explain it verbally. You might think/say, "2 inches off" or "#2 clippers" and you might have thought it was wouldnt be so short! So instead of being quick to blame just remember you can always cut off more hair, you cant undo it. So start off maybe a little bit longer so you have room to adjust. Lets do that and not complain. Ohhhhhh also if anyone out their is complaining about how I t took so long to check in blah, blah, blah. You are writing reviews therefore you can go to their GOOGLE page, which means you can go to the the Great Clips website and... CHECK IN and see how long the wait is and book how ever many appointment you need!!! I know, Its crazy how the interwebs works. Hoped I helped people especially the people giving such a good place such bad reviews.

I always cut my hair at great clip, and went to multiple Great Clip stores in tucson AZ. For this store, the quality of the cut is just not as good as the other Great Clip stores in the same city.

Love that these locations offer to check-in online at no additional cost. Most other locations would charge for that. They also arent too bad at cutting hair and are pretty quick.
