I moved to the area for a job offer from a company that ened up never opening it doors. Soon after whirlpool left to Mexico. The unemployment in the area went through the roof for years. I attempted to find another job but it simply did not happen. My wife was working a crap job but it was just covering the bills. Years of job searching and only getting part time work or some temp jobs working for some farmers in the area. But when I went to Tec in hopes they could help out with a job ect... This is what I was told: "You do not have recent job history within the last 6 months and that means we cannot help you." Followed by "If you get a job for a couple weeks, we can assist you on finding a new job". So let me get this straight.... To get a job through Tec I have to have a job? These temp services are nothing more than a scam on the American people! So if you are unemployed they will make sure you remain that way. They take a % off of the top of the pay their workers get per hour and then pay us under the amount we should be paid for the job. So we are paying them to let us work? Anyone else see this as scam? When anyone else attempted these type of action they were called "Mafia".

My payroll was ran through this company since I worked for a very small business without internal HR, and I feel like I cant even accurately describe how unorganized and unprofessional this company is. I requested my pay stubs a total of 4 times, still havent seen them. Called every office in Northwest Arkansas, plus Fort Smith, still they cant seem to provide me with them. Also, they dont approve timecards or take payments online (from the employer side), have no secure email portal so that they can send timecards/ paystubs/ private information efficiently. This place will probably work for you if you are looking for a quick $9/hr job, but if you are looking for a business partner or a reliable HR solution, TEC is not for you. Also, if you get hired BY TEC, they hire you as a temp and make you wait nearly a year before you get benefits FYI.

TEC Staffing did a good job helping me with my search for a new job. I lost my job of 3 years in November due to down sizing, I have worked for several staffing companies in the Fort Smith trying to find a new job with benefits and 10+/hr wages. I only had production experience and it did take some time due to the local economy but TEC helped me get a great job paying almost $2 more an hour than I was making. I am now a full time employee with excellent benefits.

This company helped me find a job quickly working in a local company where I was hired on as a permanent employee after a few months. I would recommend their company to anyone looking for a job. They really seem to think of their employees first and really look out for us.

TEC offers the potential for a person to better their situation. They like to be certain that you are treated with respect and keep your best interest at heart. That is a quality that, in my opinion, is very hard to find in the working world today.

Horrible!!! These people have been nothing but RUDE and INCOMPETENT in my interactions with them. DO NOT bring your buisness here if you have any choice.. keep track of all hours worked and dont let them LEACH off you for long!!
