First impressions are everything! The first time I went to express I came 30 minutes prior eager to get a job. I sat in their waiting area for 90 minutes and when asked who I would be seeing I was told Josh. Apparently he was behind on work and so I sat, waiting. Then, he tells me of a job that would be starting up at the end of that week. He told me after I filled out all the paperwork and the drug screen that he would call me with all the information to start. I called him everyday after that for over a week. His voicemail would pick up and he never returned any of my calls. I left several messages with the girl at the front desk also who seemed to have an attitude and assured me Josh would call me back after his interview or when he was off a call. Guess what? No call back. I went straight to the company I was to start at through express and got hired on directly. Two months later Josh calls me back and asks me if Im interested in this other position. I tell him I already had a job at the place he was supposed to have me start at. Josh tells me thats great and if I need help in the future with employment to give him a call. Like he had anything to do with me getting that job! So, my assignment is up at this job and I give express another chance so I call up about another job that was texted to me. I call and speak to Trevor. Trevor states he will call me back with more information. Guess what? Its been 5 days and no call back from Josh. I do not recommend using the Shawnee branch for anything accept if you like getting the run-around! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!

You might say, Express Pros, saved my life. I moved to the Kansas City area in Oct. of 2012 after accepting a job with a startup company. Not long after my arrival the company I was working for, lets just say it "went under"! I tried several employment agencies and found it very difficult to find a job that matched my skill sets. Then I remembered, "I used Express Professional to get my previous job!" I call the Manager at Express in the last city I lived in and asked the manager there if there was a center in KC? He directed me to Express Professionals on Shawnee Mission Parkway. I went there immediately and met the staff. I found the same courteous, hard working dedication to finding me a job that I had found previously. After a few interviews and a probationary period I am working full time at a job that I love. Thank you Express Professionals, maybe I could have done it without you but it would have taken a lot longer. I recommend Express Professionals to anyone that is serious about finding a career position. Call Them

You can not expect to hire professionals if you can not exhibit professional conduct yourselves. If you turn an applicant away after waiting for 30 plus minutes because you are behind in your work, you are not using your time management skills effectively. Accountability,integrity, pride and professionalism is a must in your role with an establishment as such! Please take your your job seriously! Wasting the time of others can have a negative impact on their busy schedules as well. You ask for references from me? Please let me know why I would want to work for you and what qualities and opportunities can your company offer me that sets you apart from other staffing agencies?

I recently got laid off from my previous job and was in desperate need of work. I came into Express looking for something immediately. I sat down with Josh and told him about my recent troubles and need for employment, but also a good salary so I could support my family. He said he would do some digging and get back to me. Not even 2 hours later he calls me with a great opportunity for a temp to hire. Ive been with that company for the past 10 months and things are going great. They have a great staff that truly care and want to help people. Very thankful for this place.

Josh has to be the worst ever in his position. He does not follow up or through with anything he promises. If you are looking for a job look elsewhere. They will collect your info and sit on it. They have a sign outside their window that says NOW HIRING, I go in and ask for any available position and was told " it looks like we dont have any but give me your number we send out frequent text when they are available" also they dont pay out more that $12/hour and thats MAX. They typically have $9-$11 an hour.

I recently got hired on and Im very greatful. Josh was super nice and professional. He kept things simple and clear. I didnt have any confusion and he had a job for me on the spot. The front desk lady, Roni was very professional. She was nice & kept checking on me just in case I needed help. She was helpful also. One of the worst employment agencies that Ive ever worked for I applied in April and didntreceive any notification of a job opportunity until two months later very unprofessional company and Ive been waiting on a two hour paycheck for over a month!!!!! They suck!!!!!!!
