My Cal professors are in the bad habit of having their readers prepared at Instant Copying. I have been there 3 times and each visit was unsatisfactory. The first time, the employee (owner?) misidentified the reader I requested and rung it up; he was quite unhappy when I pointed out *his* error and he had to issue a refund. The second time I called ahead and was assured the reader was available. When I arrived, it wasnt and I was told that I would have to come back several days later (they were, however, happy to take my money for it). Today, I called ahead; no one answered the phone and there was no recording giving their hours. Their website claims that they are open 7 days a week and I thought I would give it a try. When I went up there, they were closed. Now I must go yet again. Parking is impossible and I hope this ordeal ends after my next rip.

Went back and forth between two and three stars on this review. The quality of the reader I purchased was very high, but it was pretty thin and still ended up costing me $20--wouldve been cheaper if I stayed home and printed the thing myself. Also, the owners wouldnt let me take a sample of a small poster theyd printed--how am I supposed to show my colleagues the exact kind of products they make? A little more forethought on their part and I mightve come back asking for an invoice, but now I wont.

I went in to print some glossy 8x10 photos for an art contest. They gave me a much cheaper rate than Walgreens or the copy place down the street. The photos came out great. The customer service was AMAZING! The employee sat down and optimized all my photos for the paper using photoshop, and he was super nice! I left my flashdrive there on accident, and he very kindly gave it back when I returned for it.

Readers are made better, and service is fantastic...I have been to plenty of Copy stores in Berkeley, either people are rude or their prices dont match the area.The quality and care for the customer is beyond expectations. I actually get happy to pick readers up from here, everything is readable. Why dont professors use them more?

My new go-to for copying. Excellent service, good prices. Parking sucks, but I can deal with that.
