I was referred to L+L by a colleague while working on a new project. Im a small business owner, and in January, 2014 I decided to take my business from an eCommerce-only product to a full-retail product. The key factor: developing retail packaging. As this process was 100% funded out of pocket, I had some pretty special requirements: Low production with top-notch quality at a reasonable price point. I know, basically asking for the impossible. I had originally picked out a "high-touch" printer that was all smiles and promises. When it came time for the quote, they came in at ~3x of my budget and 2x the other competing quotes! When I told them I couldnt work with them, they whined about how we had been working together for over a month, and they could get me a better rate! I dont know about you, but as a business owner I dont have time to get jerked around. I understand negotiation is part of any good business deal, but I needed someone who I knew was on my side of the court. Thats when I got in touch with L+L. Craig gave me a favorable price right from the beginning. While it wasnt the cheapest per-unit price, we were able to do a run of 250 units! Printing projects like mine usually start at 1,000 units. I had some big retail boxes to make that needed a big sheet of paper, a big die, and most importantly: a big printer. L+L may in fact be the only company in San Diego that can do big prints in low volume at a good price, as they just recently acquired a new large format digital press. And just in time. In terms of quality, my retail boxes look professional and I get comments on them left and right. Everyone thinks they "look expensive" which is exactly what we were going for - an expensive look, but not an expensive price. In the end, L+L was able to do my job for less than anyone else I got a quote from, and the result was as good as, if not better than some of the other samples I got from competitors. In hindsight, the only think I might have done differently would be to go for the more expensive UV anti-scratch coating, but Im OK with incremental improvements. For a first run, I was wholly impressed. Finally, I just want to point out again the importance of feeling like I can trust the people Im working with: In business, I always get multiple quotes. With L+L theres no hassle. Ill definitely be doing business with them in the future. Especially any of the smaller jobs.

Fabulous print & mail house! This is as good as a printer can get! The print output quality is always spot-on, and the service cant be beat! In fact, I often tell people that our L&L representative Sue, is an honorary employee of our company - she anticipates our needs & often knows what we need before we do. SUE IS A ROCK STAR when it comes to customer service - all print reps should be at attentive as she is. In addition to excellent product output & service, they also understand the need to continously watch the bottom line, and routinely find ways to help us save money on our bulk mailings and every now & again theyll find a typo or a mailing list issue and bring it to our attention before it becomes a problem. L&L Printers rocks!!
