I just moved into town and even though i have my own washer and dryer, i needed to wash my queen size pillow top pad. I went to one laundromat on Auburn, went in, walked around and seen a woman using all the big washers so i turned around and walked out. Found Sierra Laundry on Madison so i went in and found even a bigger washer than the one i was just at. Got all my quarters in hand, put in soap and started putting in quarters. After first quarter, machine was not accepting it. Put in a couple more, than nothing happened. Pushed button and it dispensed the quarters i put in. I felt disappointed and thought....."now what"? If i take out the pad, and put in the other machine, i have no soap because i used all i brought on that load. I looked around and saw no on-site attendant. I decided to call the number posted on the inside door. The person who answered the phone (assuming it was the owner) was so nice. She tried helping over the phone and came to conclusion that possibly a bent coin is lodged inside. She took it upon herself to start the washer manually. I asked her where she wanted me to leave the $10.00 worth of quarters. She told me dont worry about it, this was on her. Now that is Customer Service!! I would definitely be back again. On my way out, ill be putting an "out of service" sign on the washer.

Boy has this place changed! And, in my opinion, not for the better. That have fewer washing machines, less overall space and are much more expensive! Oh but they have pretty new granite countertops. I used to come here every week and came back after a few years because I knew this was good, cost efficient place and I was severely disappointed. Wont be coming back again. If you only have one or two loads of laundry this not the place for you.

Talk about "transformation"! Sierra Laundry looks like it belongs in Beverly Hills, not Citrus Heights. Missy handles the "fluff and fold" side. Machines work. Place is spotless. If Amazon operated laundramats, Sierra would be Prime service.

Formerly Larrys Laundry. Place is clean and well lit. Wide variety of machines to meet most needs. Repairs do seem to take some time but figure thats due to new owners figuring out the routine. Signs saying remodel in 4 months!

Pay just as much to wash laundry as you do to dry it. Plus the dryer dont even work well. I would never go there again. Id give the place minus stars of I could.
