If I could leave no stars I would. Thats how disappointed I am at this branch. I was referred to Joseph who is a recruiter from a friend of mine who he had placed at a job. Of course I already had the info on the job, pay, etc., so when I spoke to Joseph he just snubbed me off like I didnt matter. I felt like I was doing his job asking questions about a job that I was interested in and he kept cutting me off telling me that he wouldnt discuss pay or anything with me until the client says they want to interview me, then proceeded to tell me that he would call me back which never happened. That was 2 wks ago so I know he never submitted me for anyone nor did he even offer to meet me knowing Im with other branches of Apple One. Smh. People like Joseph dont belong into this business. You have to be compassionate at ALL times as well as professional and in my opinion he lacks that, at least with me he did. Hell, he treated me like he knew me personally. I called back to speak to a branch mgr and have still yet to hear from them. This branch sucks. Need work? Go to Cerritos, or Downey. They are waaaay nicer there and they will find you work.

Beware of inexperienced agents. At this branch I had a trusted agent, but then a job opportunity became available with another associate. I had no other choice but to work through him for the interview process. After I accepted the position I was made aware of an important fact that I was not informed of. The agent was then confronted with his mistake by the hiring manager and by me. Instead of applying damage control and negotiating to correct the issue, he worked against me to start the interview process over and provide new candidates to interview for my position. In 4 weeks my position was eliminated and I was laid off. Note: Act1 is an associated recruiting service and they are just collecting resumes for their new entertainment branch.

My overall experience with the team at this location was exceptional particularly the guidance I got from Annie Maynard. She gave me great advice on adding keywords to my résumé, coached me through my presentation and made me feel confident walking into my interview! If you have any questions, you can email or call her and receive a prompt response. I highly recommend going to her for help with your job searching. Thank you so much Annie!

I went to the Glendale office and didnt have much luck there. Out of nowhere Corby Abondano came on the scene and started sending me awesome jobs with great pay rates. She was an advocate for me when most other places seemed to snub me. I got to the 2nd interview for one of the positions she sent me and only didnt take it, because another job had already given me an offer. Thanks Corby!
