Mike and Laura our wonderful people and when I leave my son in their care I know he thinks of it like a second home. It is actually hilarious that many morning he sits at the door waiting to go to daycare! My son started with Daddy/Daughter Daycare when he was about 10 months old. If Id known he would do so well there I would have started him earlier! We did consider trying some of the larger centers because of some of the conveniences they offer (long hours, drop-in care) but ultimately when I visited Mike and Lauras place I just knew those were the two people that were going to love my son. He wouldnt be just another round at diaper changing hour. I was right. I really think that that Mike and Laura were just as excited as I was for each of my sons milestone. They were always genuinely concerned if he wasnt sleeping as well, had a cold, or a scrap. What I like best is that they seem to know what my son needed through his development. My son has been a very poor sleeper since day 1 and they worked with him to help us get him on schedule (without too many tears!) They are both compassionate nurturing people and we couldnt be happier with the care theyve provided our son.

My daughter caught a virus early on when she was 3weeks old and was very sick for awhile. We were very nervous to put her in a daycare but when we met with daddy/daughter daycare we knew our daughter was in good hands (especially when a member of the family is a pediatric nurse). Our daughter thrived in the small daycare environment, learning to be social with other kids yet still getting the one on one attention. The adult to kid ratio is excellent as my daughter always received attention. She loved it there! She literally would cry when we pick her up because she didnt want to go home! Mike and Laura were nurturing and loving to the kids. They also went out of their way to get to know the parents which was important to me. I still do playdates with Mike and Laura and occasionally have Laura babysit. I highly recommend this daycare and know that anyone seeking a daycare will be satisfied with this place.

One of the most difficult aspects of motherhood is entrusting the care of your child to another person. When my son was 3 months old Mike and Laura became his guardian angels. For two years they showered our son with kindness, love, and support and he absolutely thrived because of it. I never had to worry about his well being while he was under their watch, and their home provided a fabulous environment for him to learn. We will be forever grateful to them for all that they did for our family. I highly recommend Mike and Lauras services to anyone seeking care for their children.

We have personally known Mike, Laura and family for over 25 years. We could not think of a better place for child care other then our own home! Great family, great day care!
