The "McDonalds" of barbershops. Be WARNED, people! Ive never even been that concerned about my hair (Im a guy), but EVERY time I get my haircut at the Bayshore Mall Mastercuts, they mangle it! Each time, I clearly and politely ask for the same simple cut, and they simply cant handle it. 4 different employees have had a go at my hair, and not only did each of them cut it to the wrong length, but it is always left grossly uneven. No, I dont want to talk to you about the weather, dammit! I just want you to do the job Im paying you for! Ill tip you whatever you want!.. After they finish the job, they dont really give you the time or the privacy to inspect their work. During my last cut, I finally mustered the gall to kindly ask the hairdresser to "even out" the job shed done. Her devastated look of disdain and heartbreak was the final straw for me (she did attempt to honor my request, but afterwards it looked even worse). These scissor-wielders are good people, folks. They just cant cut hair. Goodbye Mastercuts.

My hair wasnt cut to my liking the first time I came in and had it cut. Only took the hairdresser about 20 minutes and seemed as if she was doing it as quickly as possible. It was choppy, uneven and didnt have enough layers even though I said "I want a LOT of layers, like an onion." They told me that if I need to come back to have anything fixed, theyll do it for free. I came back two days later and they told me if I wanted it to have any more layers added, Id be charged for another haircut. I didnt come here to get a bad haircut and rude service, I came here to have you do a decent job the first time.

This is the second time I went to Mastercuts. Both times I got exactly what I wanted. The store is clean, great stock of hair products and the staff is fyn and friendly. This last time I went in I had Melissa. She looked at all my pictures and asked lots of questions. I came out with a better style then I envisioned. I will drive the two hours to get this kind of service!

This is more a review of Selena, one of the stylists here, since I havent been to any of the others. She was very nice, listened to what I wanted, and gave me exactly what I asked for. I was in and out in 30 minutes with one of the best hair cuts Ive ever had! I highly recommend her.

Told it would be a 15-20 minute wait at 3pm on a Wednesday. After waiting 35 minutes Im told that the employees hadnt returned from lunch but it wont be much longer. After person came into the store, and with a zero wait, he was getting his hair cut by the manager.

Pathetic! They left the drying cloth tucked in my shirt and i was walking like that around the mall. Finally, the cashier at TJ Maxx appointed that i had this wierd cloth sticking out my shirt. How crazy is that?!
