A review for this place has been long overdue!! I have been frequenting this place before it was born as In-Shape. Since its birth, there have been major transformations and I am loving it!! You cant beat the amenities you get for the price you pay here!! Place is super clean! They have 2 pools, 1 indoor and 1 outdoor. Several tennis courts and lots of tennis lessons from amazing motivated coaches. Great bunch of people to play with. I can go on and on about this place.. Steam room, day care.. Wait how can I forget the awesome Les Mills and spin classes!!! Most of all kudos to the amazing staff here. I want to specifically mention Billy the manager who is friendly, super helpful, motivated and always smiling while making others laugh!! Priscilla is also one of my favs over there... These peoples smiles make my day!!

Real sad shit owner to have this type of bullshit business . I have been a member for awhile. I used the steam and sauna rooms a lot. I have found out that some members leff and hung their boxers, briefs and underwears in sauna room. They used this room to dry their personal items. This is nasty and unhealthy for other educated and open minded members. I will file a complaint to the health department for this type of incidents if the management will not take any actions to fix this issue. I already file the incident report on 7/22/2017 for this nastiness with David E who is the manager of the club. And I will contact the Inshape the compliance department on this Monday to file a complaint with their company.

This is a Platinum level club. My husband and I have been members for 2 years. The classes offered are great, the staff is friendly and helpful. The reason for the 1 star is how filthy the club is. I have brought is to the attention of management numerous times. The response is always our budget doesnt allow for increasing the staff for housekeeping. The dues members pay monthly, should go towards making sure the locker rooms are clean and disinfected. The drains are always clogged, the shower curtains are dirty, and the showers dont have body wash. If The owner does not make changes in his budget to include housekeeping, my husband and I will cancel the membership at Dover and move to another club.

Recently there have been several concerns which I have discussed with management to no avail. Between May 12-30, 2017 the indoor/outdoor pools were closed on two separate occasions due to feces(poop) in the pool. With warmer weather upon us, staff should periodically check indoor/outdoor pools ensuring posted rules and etiquette are followed immediately addressing concerns/violations. When I discussed concerns with management and suggested possible procedural implementations, I was told there is no money in the budget. Having staff periodically monitor indoor/outdoor pool is a must anything less is negligent.

The only reason I joined this club is because Travis AFB has a seasonal pool, otherwise I’d be on base! I rarely use the other areas of the club, too ghetto for me … kind of like everything else in Fairfield, the Mall, etc. Anyway, the pools are ok; until the kids come in and mess up your lap swimming ... the parents have no respect, I even got chewed out by some whale of a woman because I ran over her kid that was swimming across everyone’s lap lanes! I’ve noticed that the cleanliness has gone downhill … the Men’s locker room had a really bad odor coming from the toilet area!

Picked up a day pass to get some free weight time in since I was stuck in Fairfield for work. Employees were not knowledgeable about where their own equipment was, placement of equipment was not organized, there was not even a squat rack. I have been to planet fitnesss with better equipment. Ended up spending $13 to run on the treadmill for an hour. If you want to take selfies and show off on social media, this is the place. If you want to workout and get your pump on, go somewhere else.

Really good, clean, and pleasant place to work out. They do have day care for an extra charge. There are two pools and two hot tubs, one inside and one outside, several tennis courts, a large cardio room, great weight room, and a aerobics classroom.

The hot tub at this in-shape is by far the best in Fairfield and Vacaville. The pools are clean and well kept, while the inside has a nice workout area. Great staff too!
