Listen to this. I get one day off a week, so I went online and saw good reviews on this place, so i went to give it a try. I walk in, and there is 2 people that work there, and one was cutting someones hair, the other was reading a magazine, and there was no one else there. Then this guy says, "Do you have an appointment?" in the most condescending patronizing tone he could find in his old bitter soul. Then i told him its my only day off this week, and they told me i could sign up, but nobody was there!!! i was offended and extremely disappointed. I will never set foot on the premises again!

Ive had my hair cut at Folsom Barbering Co. for years. In the past, I tried other shops in town but now I wouldnt go anywhere else! I get a professional, consistent haircut at a very reasonable price with great conversation every single time I go. Im not sure why a few other folks have complaints about their service...Ive personally never experienced any issues. You just cant please all of the people all of the time. Take my advice, its best to call and make an appointment and try them out for yourself. I ask for Al but James is excellent as well.

Ive been going to Folsom Barbers for over a year. They do great work with impeccable attention to detail. One review was upset when they would not cut his hair on the spot. They have so much business that instead of having people wait (they have a small waiting room) theyd rather not waste your time and instead would rather you make an appointment. Their cuts are cheap but high quality. The only thing that is a bit bothersome is they only take cash or check meaning they do not accept credit cards.

I used to think that "Super Cuts" was the worst haircut you could get. Boy, was I wrong. I got my haircut Sunday, 9/25, at Folsom Barbering Co and it is among the worst haircuts I have ever had. I got butchered! I had a better haircut when I first entered the military. Lucky for me my hair grows fast. I will just have to wear a hat for the next 2-3 weeks. But, like the saying goes "You get what you paid for." Now Im paying.

Went there last minute because my barber is injured and cannot work. Walked in with my two kids, no appointment and basically just said please! Very happy with the results and the extra attention that Reid provided all three of us! He could have just done the basic cut and I would have been happy, but I felt as if I was treated just like his long-time customers!

This Barber has changed ownership and is now very good. They will work with you to find a good cut for any given event or just for the office. They provide great communication and ask your permission before doing anything differently. FAMILY FRIENDLY environment.

Amazing haircuts. I normally bic my head then let it grow out then bic it again, but once in awhile an occasion calls for a professional look. When these times come I go here, everyone gives the does the most professional beautiful styling.

I use James. He is extremely friendly, and he did the best job on my sons and my straight hair we have ever had done. (And I am picky) He was recommended to me and I will do the same for you. Great location too.

Very rude from the get go. Would not recommend for the younger crowd. I wasnt treated nicely from the moment I walked in. Perhaps they ALL had a bad day prior to me walking in? Ill never know.

I have been getting my haircut at this shop for years. The barbers are friendly, the conversation is good and my hair looks great when I leave.
