I followed Fred, the owner, from Manteca where he used to have his shop. For several months I tried to find a replacement barber, but no one could really get my hair the way I like it (and the way my wife likes it!). So needless to say, I make the trip to Modesto when its time for a haircut. I like the way they cut my hair, and I like the fact that I dont have to go into one of those girly "salons". I will be a loyal customer for years to come!

I got a great cut, and some great old school conversation and customer service here. Feels just like an old school barber shop should. Old guys sitting around chewing the cud and talking sports and cars, and the nice lady giving them all grief. Shes a hoot! The place has been here apparently for years, and one of the barbers worked there as a kid, too. The price was right on!

I took my son here for a haircut and they did a fantastic job. We have been to several of the local salons and have had trouble finding someone good at cutting a teenage boys hairstyle properly. Well this time I did not have to "fix" the haircut later on at home because these guys are really masters of their craft. A good place, highly recommended.

I can agree with the other comments before, its and old school back in the day barber shop when I was a kid. They cut my hair the right way the first time with no hassles. And yes, no corrections needed after. Im definitely going back. No buts about it.

I walked in with my son who is 4 and the guy that was working looked at me and then looked at my son and said he doesnt do kids. Didnt even say welcome or anything. Really rude. Ended up goin to the salon right next door and got great service.

This place reminds me of a barber shop my dad used to take me to when I was a kid. What can I say, I get a great haircut, in and out, no hassle.
