Work out there if you must, but never sign up for anything other than a month to month membership. I strongly recommend working out somewhere else if you have any other options. In my opinion, the entire chain provides very poor customer service, and the personal training contracts were extremely unfriendly to me as a consumer. The local gyms seem very limited in their ability to assist customers, and dealing with their corporate office was painful to say the least. It took about a month for me to cancel, they billed me after receiving the certified mail (the settled a class action suit previously, google it), then strung me along for 3 weeks telling me things were being processed, only to tell me they lost my certified letter and check, and they havent even bothered to respond to the better business bureau complaint yet. I had to send certified mail to 2 separate PO boxes to cancel my membership and personal training.

Im certain jailhouse gyms are cleaner than this LA FITNESS. Dont waste your time coming to this gym, unless you want to catch hepatitis that is. The whole place is dirty, the locker room looks like someone just won the super bowl. Toilet paper everywhere, ass gaskets on the floor. No toilet paper. Smells as though someone pissed on the walls and the floor. I mentioned something to one of the salesman. I should have taken his name down, but his desk was the first one after you come inside. He could have cared less. He looked at me like a goat staring at a new gate. This want the first time its been in shambles before. It was close to home so I tolerated it... I just couldnt do it anymore. I started going to the Huntington Beach location. WOW!!! That gym should be the model for all others to follow. Super super clean, Brite, tons of equipment, laid out super nice. Drive the extra few miles, you will thank yourself later.

Ive been going to the Gym since November 2013, and I signed up for a once a week training program. I really love it there and the people are so nice and the trainer, Mike, is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I had recently gone through some financial difficulties and asked to take a break for one month; then go on to two a week. Which meant more money for the gym. Ultimately, they couldnt suspend my payment for one month to help me out and charged me anyway. Its unfortunate that such unsatisfactory business is directed toward a customer. Trust me, I like the people there; yet it isnt a good business model in terms of longevity of a customer. If they would have done this one favor, I wouldve been a member for years to come.So I am 100% sure this November I will be cancelling my membership because of this experience.

Somebody broke into my locke destroyed my padlock a week ago and took my cell phone and money. Luckily they spared my wallet. Stayed at the gym for about 30 minutes only. Reported to Evelyn (manager)the incident but she cant do anything except sorry. I usually dont bring anything at the gym except my working clothes. Beware. Please dont bring anything valuable not safe. Also a month ago, I was swimming and somebody poop at the pool. We have to evacuate the area to have maintenance clear the poop. Anyway it still its a good place to workout but beware of your valuables belongins. There are people watching you especially in the locker rooms to grab your valuables items when they got the opportunities.

Terrible service. I made a tour schedule and went there on time. I was told to wait for ten minutes but twenty minutes passed the customer representive was still not available. I just wanted to ask if the membership fee includes racquet ball n to see if the club is clean enough. The front desk could not help to answer. After I said I had to leave and went to the door and she called me back just to repeat that she could not answer my question. Meanwhile, my son went there couple months ago but was bugged to join the membership immediately, which made him annoy as well.

Big disappointment, you are told to recommend the gym to your friends through VIP pass and then they tell you to go to your home gym to finish activation. What is the point of being able to work out in any club? Then they give you a 10 day pass, you ask if it can be corrected to 14 days, they say yes just come with your guest. Later they say no, basically suggesting that unless you become member. Other LA fitness clubs are very proactive and fix their logistics problems. This one just say sorry I didnt mean to say that, have a good one.

This is my home gym. Its never too crowded first thing in the morning and it has everything that I need. Most of the regulars are friendly, helpful, and clean up after themselves. It would be nice if they had more power racks and fewer of these half-squat-racks, but I cant complain. The tall ceilings keep the place cool even when it is packed. The gym was renovated about a year ago. Looks good.

This place has a filthy locker room, with dark felt covered benches that got a musty smell, people seat butt naked on them. Showers without curtains, and a filthy spa, you cant see through the water. There are no etiquette rules posted in conspicuous places and different languages. Towels are not use to cover private parts by some dudes. Very dissapointed.

Worst LA fitness ive been to yet. Thought it would be nice since its near my house. I swear this place has equipment from the 80s. Probobly barley 2,000lbs of weight total in the gym, Barbells and all. Multiple weight racks empty and almost all equipment doesnt have a safty. This is a large liability waiting to happen.

THE MILLIONAIRE MILLENNIAL

I dont understand the negative reviews, most complaints are from those who are afraid to use the proper tools and weights to build their dream body. Most knowledgeable in fitness only know what works best, this place has more than enough machines to get fit. Go sign up to Planet Fitness instead you wimps.

Like always.... 1130am and place is dirty, No paper towels upstairs, trash upstairs and by front door over flowing and trash on floor! Really sucks not having paper towels in bathrooms either!! Would like to wipe off sweat and clean up before leaving gym!!

The gym is sufficiently clean and the equipment is relatively modern. It can get a little busy at times but I still manage to get a good workout in. I prefer this location over the one in Cerritos.

Meh...looks like the one in Redlands only the equipment is worse (needs repair) TVs were outdated and a few were broken...very dirty/unorganized-like most LA Fitness locations.

Yo this places is hella cool lots and lots of equipment and the sign up is fast and easy thanks to Giovanni me and all my buddies got hooked up.
