Absolutely the best experience for my son and three daughters. We were there during the good and bad. In a previous review the kids sleeping in the lobby were actually training day and night. They are no longer a part of the dance studio as that practice has landed them on three major network TV shows. In Gardena we need the arts more than ever. Our children are able to light it up on stage and really entertain massive crowds. We love the office staff and instructors now much more than before. They changed to a much more positive and professional staff. The old ones and their poor attitudes left to begin their own dance business. Good luck with that. Now Courtney has returned full time after giving birth and the kids just love the way she challenges them and then has them smiling at the end of each class. Its tough love in the world of learning dance but we always know that Courtney loves our kids and wants the best for them. And we saw that when two of her students appeared on national TV performing the dance taught in her studio and first performed on the stage in her annual recital. It then was featured on Ellen, The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, and Steve Harveys Little Big Shots. Somehow the studio wasnt mentioned on the major network shows even though all the choreography was learned at Courtneys School of Dance. I remember where I saw the tribute to the famous Nicolas Brothers first! We see you Miss Courtney and when our kids make it to larger stages, you better believe you will get your recognition. That is how we must treat gifted young business owners in our urban areas. They too can go Hollywood and forget about us.

DONT waste your MONEY or TIME!!!!...1).Staff are extremely unproffessional.2.)!They dont allow you to observe your child while Male instructor "stretches" them out.Very small studio (5 chairs) at the door(cant see your child,my daughter was 4) they want you to wait in your car if your not the FIRST 5! 3.)Front office staff has several children who lay around and often have 3 of the 5 chairs offered or they are sleeping on the floor in this already small space.4) On several occassions staff have sent their children to penalize and/or criticize other girls.MOst of these instances have left my child in fear/tears! Its just not the type of program you want to introduce to your child if you want them to THRIVE in dancing! It is one of the worst DANCING PROGRAMS IN THE GREATER LOS ANGELES AREA

At first I was skeptical, but grew to love what the school has to offer. Of course, some instructors are better than others but overall my children actually learned proper technique in the short amount of time there. My son was in the ballet technique class to help with stretching for football and it drastically helped his posture. He is more flexible and helped with the pain in his knees. The studio doesnt allow you to watch the students to avoid distraction, but so does many other studios I have visited (Ex. Debbie Allen studio). You can peek at into each studio from the outside through he window strips. The whole experience is great this far I have no complaints with the education my children are receiving. I am eager to see what will happen come the summer recital.
