Came to this salon just to dye my hair. I wanted the half blonde/half black look which required bleaching my hair. The lady that was doing my hair looked like she had no idea what she was doing and kept asking a coworker for help. She accidentally bleached my eyebrow. When I noticed, I quickly I pointed it out and she said it was my fault for not telling her my eyebrow was dyed. Her response was extremely rude. Shes supposed to know what shes doing! Well she dyed it back to my original color but I went in there to get my hair dyed not my eyebrow! They also had the nerve to charge me the full amount. When I asked for a discount they said they could not give me one because they fixed the problem. Extremely rude people! I do not recommend this place and I am amazed it has been open for this long. This place needs go out of business!

One of the worse Beauty Salons EVER!!!!! This salon is just full of negative nosy women that do not know anything about beauty or style or anything that they learned in Cosmetology school...I went to a perm (just wavy loose curls) Anyways the lady first put the perm liquid on first it started smelling like burnt hair she did not know what she was doing another woman that worked there came up to her started yelling @ her cause she also noticed she wasnt doing it right...well she started washing my hair...then after they f***** up my hair she still had the nerve to charge me...UH yeah right heck no I just walked out and never went there again...Now I go to this Beauty Salon in Carson where the girls are really nice and professional & they do know what they are doing...Maricelas Hair Salon thee WORSE!

I went to this salon for a "trim", the woman that cut my hair did not speak English, while I understand a lot of Spanish, I do not speak it well enough to attempt conversation. After she was done, she asked the guy working in the next chair (in Spanish) how much she should charge, she was thinking $15, he made a rolled his eyes and told her $20.....right there in front of me. I gave her $20 and told her to get her $5 tip from him..... I was furious! It wasnt the money, it was the blatant rudeness. If you are considering this place, Dont do it!

I looooovveeeee this place. I have been going to Emmi for 7 years and I will never let anyone else touch my hair. Its never felt more healthy or alive when anyone but this shop touches my hair. The others are great as well :) Emmi and I just have this connection. She knows my hair, isnt expensive and is amazing at what she does. I would recommend this shop to the woman who has wild, unmanageable hair that society seems to not be able to handle. This is your hairs new home
