I took my girlfriends car to a couple of shops before finding this gem of a shop. The first shop said $200 per axle is about the typical cost for new brakes. Thought that was a bit high so I didnt bother having them inspect it. A second shop (Johns Automotive Repair on Leffingwell Rd) told me it would be about $130 per axle and offered to check it out for free. They checked it out and came back telling me that it would be $550 because I needed new rotors because they were under spec and could not be resurfaced. I caught them by surprise when I asked for measurements. Suddenly the mechanic could not take accurate measurements in front of me and said "I dont know where the paper is right now but your rotors are out of spec" "Im working on three cars right now and dont know where I left it". At this point I felt insulted and wanted to leave. I took the car around the block to KR Auto Repair. First thing I noticed was that they do free inspections. They told me I needed new brake pads. "is that all? are you sure?" I asked. They confirmed once more! Total cost ended up being $288 out of pocket but I got a $59 rebate from Bendix which knocked it down to $229! I decided I am not going anywhere else from now on. We found our mechanic!

If you want to spend a a lot of money and let them keep you car for a month or longer and bring it home in worse condition this is the place for you. They charge you when they have no idea of what is wrong with your car. Dont go there! Youll be sorry. How do you give negative stars?

Best mechanic shop ever. I will not take my car anywhere else. Fixed once and never had the same problem again. These guys know what they are doing. Thanks for the great, fast service. Forgot to mention the reasonable price!!!
