Swung by this Wednesday after deliberating about trying some new shops since the ones I have been going to in uptown Whittier starting getting too hipster and just werent producing good haircuts for the cost they up-charge now. After spending an hr I went through the yelp reviews and ratings and saw this place and gave it a shot. Came in around 10 and was greeted very friendly by Mimi I believe. Wait time wasnt too long since it was still early but from the chatter between customers/barbers they just remodeled the place and were adding a tv and a dartboard later that day. They already have a pool table and a mini fridge (unsure if free beer/water) but no matter I was there for the cut. I believe my barber was Gilbert and boy was I was satisfied. Usually Im not a talker during my cuts because I want my cut to be focused on my hair, not my conversation but surprisingly it went better on both ends. Both the barbers were funny and talked to me as if I was regular already..that kind of barber banter youd want in a shop. But he took his time and Id say I spent close to an hour doing my hair/beard and it was worth the time it took. Quality over Quantity I always say. Cost is $16 for a hair cut and beard trim was $4 but i ended up tipping more just because of how impressed I was. I will definitely be coming back as a regular.

Ive been here 3 times now, 1st two times I was there for an hour and half minimum including my haircut, which was done well. 3rd time after an hour wait again I left & wont be coming back. All 3 times Ive visited during a week day between 11-2 so not high volume times yet the friendly barbers seem to have no idea how to speed things up when people are waiting (in fact although good cuts the barbers just take to long). 2 barbers cutting w 2 other customers waiting all 3 times Ive walked in. Cant spend almost 2 hours in a barber shop every time I need a cut.

Perfect place to get a shave and a hair cut, and also if you just want to hang out youll have a lot of fun!!! They are so meticulous on the job that I wont go anywhere else!!!
