I am writing this review to save you from a bad haircut! The gentleman who owns the shop is very nice and friendly but he is terrible at cutting hair. This was hands down the worst haircut Ive ever had in my entire life. It was so uneven and I now look like a complete goofball. DONT GO HERE unless you want to look ridiculous for the next two weeks until your hair grows out long enough to get it cut again. I could have done a better job cutting my own hair without a mirror. If I could give this place 0 stars I would.

The old Vietnamese man who cut my hair was a little slow, but he gave me a great haircut. He seemed like he was trying to get everything just perfect and he did. He uses a vacuum when he is done to suck up all the bits of hair so you arent all itchy afterwards, which I thought was a nice touch. Surprised more places dont do this. I will definitely go again.

If Vietnamese is not your native tongue, youre not going to get much chat from this barber. You will, however, get a consistent, decent haircut. Ive been there a dozen times and have always been pleased with my haircut. Only $15.

dont come here if you want your nails done. this is a BARBER. who want to chat with their barber anyway..sit down and get a hair cut... great place for mens cuts. solid military haircuts at great prices for la jolla.

Great place. The barber doesnt force you to chat and is very methodical and accurate. He is definitely experienced and makes good haircuts. Takes a bit longer than average but is definitely worth it.

Fantastic experience! Very thorough and meticulous. He is also a polite and pleasant man who makes sure you get what you ask for. $14 for a haircut like this is a TOTAL BARGAIN.

Great basic hair cut, no thrills exactly what i was looking for. Other shops next door are charging $45! This guy charges $14. Not much conversation though.

Really takes his time, will not rush if you want to adjust something, perfect cut each time, affordable, and he has a hair vacuum.
