A few years ago while working as a temp somewhere else, I applied to a $13/hr position posted by Great Hire and after interviewing with the agency was sent to another interview with the company doing the hiring. The agency scheduled me for a 4 a.m. appointment (Im assuming they did this because I was only available before or after my temp job) and to confirm I attempted to call and msg them but didnt get a response. So against my better judgement I went anyway since the company was open 24/7 (according to their website) and to no surprise the hiring manager wasnt there. Anyway I eventually received a call from that supervisor later that day and he asked if I could come in another time and so I did. As the interview went on I realized that they were only offering $11/hr... So later I called the agency again and asked them why the pay change? And they said, "Sorry the original job post expired so we sent you to this company.." Since I really needed a job at the time I was like fine.. Then two weeks after I finally started working I received my first check and guess what..? It said my pay was $10/Hr..

If i could leave a zero i would. Anyone working through this shady agency needs to watchout. They act like they cant contact the actual employer as soon as it gets down to handing you your check. While i was working here there was a few people who were on the job site and didnt get paid until almost a full week after their payday. A person shouldnt have to aruge with people about their pay period, almost 2 weeks later and IM having to make sure i get my check with no help from greathire. Its a shame because some decent companys go through them but with this kind of temp your better off not even working with them. Pay is not a joke if you work your hours you should get your money on time not be talked down to by moody and unhelpfull greathire employees. If you like playing back amd forth games over your pay and having to pay bills late or not all come here. Absolutely never again
