I was at this ulta a few days ago and had one of the worse experiences ever I honestly couldnt believe my eyes. I come to this location often because I love make up and Im here constantly. The staff in general is not the best, but I just ignore it. But on this day I was looking at a product that had just been released and Audra, a girl that works there, said excuse me and basically moved me from where I was and she was helping another customer telling her about the same product I was looking at first. Then I grabbed the last shade of that product before and she grabbed all the other remaining shades and showed them all to the lady she was helping so I wouldnt be able to get any more! Sorry this is long but I just couldnt believe she did that knowing I was there first and actually buying the product! The lady she helped didnt even buy anything!! What was worse was that the manager was there and witnessed this incident and didnt do a thing about it! I was amazed!

A lady working there would not stop following my friends and I. Any isle we went too shed follow and kept an eye on us. She approached my friend of having a liquid lip and what she did with it as if she had stole it.. also my friend never even picked up a liquid lipstick.. she kept asking if we wanted a bag even tho my friend only had two small products and we didnt need a big bag its not like we were gonna buy a lot and kept asking if we wanted her to place the stuff in the front. It was rude as hell like let us shop in peace. Kept approaching us asking if we needed help like if we needed help wed ask for it we already said no. Didnt even buy anything because we got so annoyed. We were only there for 10 minutes. Rather go to the Ulta in La quinta theyre way more friendly and dont bug as you shop as if you were stealing.

I love this store (La Quinta). I was matched PERFECTLY by an associate. She worked with me until matching (took many trys). Im glad I skipped on Sephora. A day before I went into Sephora on El Paseo and asked to be matched. It looked great in the store but when I walked outside, I was red. It was terrible. I debated on a Sephora and Ulta. I chose Ulta. The associate asked about my skin care, skin concerns and what i wanted. She had me go to the natural light after every testing. I love my foundation (Becca - Olive). Ulta is my beauty paradise

I bought a compact, opened the package about 15 minutes after purchasing. The sponge was dirty & the powder looked used. When explaining that I was sold a used item, the manager explained that a customer must have confused it for a sample that sits on the top shelf. I said, no thats not possible because I watched your employee pull it out from the bottom drawer. When I worked at Sephora ALL returned items were marked as damaged, NOT at Ulta so make sure you check the product.

Even though this one is closer to my house I rather drive the extra mileage and go all the way to Palm Desert. They need friendly staff and people that know their products. I have to be chasing the floor people to help me with a particular thing that Im looking for a cool standing looking around for almost 10 minutes until somebody acknowledge that I need help not too happy with the store wouldnt go back

I only visit ULTA a couple of times and the customer service wasnt like other brand make up stores, and when I pay I ask about the points and additional goodies other stores give you when you purchase a large quantity of make up. I was just not satisfied with their customer service.

Just walking around, minding my own business, when Paula floats down from hair care heaven. She somehow knew I needed help with my wavey hair. She pointed me to the right products without ever being asked. If everyone is as helpful as her, then I will definitely be back!

Went with my wife, she went in to by some eye make up. When she goes to Macys she spends around 120-200 makes on make up. First time in store we talked around one area for like 30 minutes looking for what she wanted and no helped. Very bad customer service. .

I can spend hours in this place have all brands and just added bhcosmetics which is very good makeup, give special buenisimas and you get a rewards card, have many brands like NYX, bhcosmetics, urban decai etc ...

This woman who told us "she owned the Ulta La Quinta store". Shes obviously a liar because Ulta is a corporate business. I will no longer go to this store because of her. She was rude and her eyebrows scared my mother and I.
