Fred Astaire is finally back in OC after a far too long absence! Having been a Fred Astaire student 20 some years ago I was anxious to see the studio and see what I both, remembered and forgot! One introductory lesson with owner/instructor Marcus Tener, and I was immediately hooked! Ive been in for private lessons and group classes. Both are great. Marcus is a wonderful instructor with an ability to explain movement, rhythm and styling so you can actually understand what hes trying to say. And the Fred Astaire method works! No matter if you have two left feet or one, Marcus will have you dancing with style in no time. Give it a try! Its FUN!

An amazingly warm and welcoming dance community provides fun and fitness for any dorky, fitness-minded, two-left feet, rhythm-challenged, uncoordinated person. Primarily me. And maybe you, too? Im a graceful dancer, but only in my head. Im truly dorky, but my bf is strangely okay with that. Thank you to all those who smiled at me when I got in their way during the Rhythm and Motion class, because I was feeling absolutely out of my element, and even more thanks for those who tried to help me along. Marcus Tener, the owner is also a fantastic dance instructor. We took ballroom lessons before but Marcuss teaching and ability to explain complicated moves have improved our dancing so much after only a few months of lessons.
