**Update Nov 14, 2010** Im done with this place. My 3 star rating has been changed to 1 star. I try to give people the benefit of the doubt, but jeeeeez. My strategy outlined below of avoiding the oldest gentleman in the back has failed me twice now. Two other guys have messed up my buzz cut. I thought I had the trick - just say "no fade, no taper, just #3 all around and leave the sideburns at their natural length". The last guy really took the cake - after cutting my sideburns off (which he just asked me about 30 seconds before!) I complained, and his response to my complaint was to simply pick up another clipper of some sort to fix it. I had to physically avoid the clipper by moving my body away from him and firmly telling him to STOP, twice. This place is so convenient and inexpensive, but screw it, Im going to drive as far as I have to in order to go somewhere else from now on. I continue to go back, but avoid the oldest gentleman working the chair towards the back-left of the shop. I get my haircut with a #3 buzz every time, and they usually try to mess it up somehow. Either by fading it around the edges, cutting off my sideburns, etc. I have learned to repeat very specific instructions at least twice. I really like how fast they are and they are close to my house, so now that Ive got the routine and instructions down I keep going back.

three reason you would come here... 1) Youre a dude and dont care what happens to your hair, as long as its short. 2) You want a cheap and quick cut. 3) You speak the language (Vietnamese) and you can give specific instructions Other than that, forget about it. For me, simple instructions. "Number 1 on sides and back, 1 inch on top, no sideburns" Bring a picture and point if you want a special cut. HAHA!!!

My first thought walking in was good as I was greeted and helped right away and even called sir. But then ok was different, was not talkative and was trimming my hair so fast and hard that he cut me in 3 spots, Ive NEVER been cut while getting a haircut, NEVER! I was wondering why he wouldnt have me face the mirror and was putting some weird smelling chemical and paper towel on me. I will not be back here.

Ive Come here a few times now and everytime the person who cut my hair... simply nod his head understanding...so I thought... and then goes on to cut it definitely. Most of the time they cut it too short because they spent a lot of time fixing. I asked for a small trim on top and a left me with no hair hardly... it happens too many times... and now Im done

Love getting my "high and tight" haircut here. If you like short styled haircuts or military haircuts, choose #4, Mr. Hieu (there is now a sign-in sheet at the door). Hell even shave your sides clean with a razor and shaving cream - having seen anyone there who is willing to go through that much work. Highly recommended!

Lee has been cutting hair for a few years now. Used to go to Bell Tower next shopping center over. Wait time there is horrible. Twin Peaks has fair prices @ $8 for a haircut theres enough left over for a good tip. Dont be stingy. Most chain shops do the same for 3x the cost. Ridiculous I say.

These guys are great. For $7 + tip I get a great haircut. As long as you avoid the weekend, you wont have the wait long. They are always friendly and they have a great selection of magazines. Ive been going there for about a year, and I have no reason to go anywhere else.

Visited Crystal today at Twin Peaks Barber Shop for a beard trim. Got my hair cut there last week. Superprofessional service at old time barber shop prices. Sorry to see that a previous reviewer got nicked, but it happens some times.

Inexpensive barbershop specializing in haircuts for guys like me that are cheapskates. Several really good barbers work here as well as a few not so good. Minus one star for being kind of grubby.

I have been going here for about 4yrs. My guy is #9 i believe his name is lee. The best place hands down. I live in fountain valley and it is still the only place i go. Thank you twin peaks

Best barber opens early they are friendly. The most Ive ever had to wait is about 7 minutes. The staff are all friendly and courteous.
