I was rear-ended on my way home from work. I came across this location because there was a gentleman who was nearby the accident who strongly suggested I take my car to this place. I was hesitant as I already had place to take my car but I listened to this gentleman because he said his cousins shop had Lifetime Guarantee on all their vehicles. Initially, I was very happy when I took my car in. Everyone was professional and pleasant to deal with. They happily towed my car to their shop and I followed right along and filled out all the required paperwork. My experience with this company went sour pretty quickly when after a few weeks they still had not touched my car which meant it was just sitting on their lot. I called them up to find out what the hold-up was and was informed that my insurance had not paid them for the additional fees and they were doing their best to get in contact with my insurance company. Additionally, they specified that they had "all the parts to [my] car and the rear bumper had already been painted and [were] just waiting for payment". I was very grateful and without hesitation I took their word and continued to wait (big mistake). After another week, I called them again to see if they had received payment and they said they had not. I quickly called my lawyer to complain about my insurances lack of care and attention to my case only to be told my them that A&B Auto Group had cashed the insurance check a week ago (what?!). I called A&B again and provided them with the information that had been passed on to me by my lawyers office. A&B said they would look into it and after a couple days I got a call back and was told that the hold-up was due to a part that was back-ordered (I thought they said they had all my parts???) but would "definitely" get my car back by the end of the month/year (Dec 2015). Not only was I having to wait another two weeks but later on found out that 1) no, my car would not be ready by the end of the month nor 2) was the rear bumper of my car painted. I wrote a strongly worded email to the GM of A&B only to be told that the check that they cashed was sent to a "sister" location. That seems troubling to me - I guess they just cash checks without checking whether or not the vehicles are in their possession. When I brought this up, she said I was looking “too much into it as its a common thing". So, 6 weeks after they promptly towed my car to their location, I am still without a car and am a very UNsatisfied customer... I will provide an updated version of this when I finally get my car back (if I ever get my car back).
