Rock Star Dance is an excellent studio for kids, and adults, who want to learn all kinds of dance genre. The knowledge, and loving, teachers treat every student with respect and kindness. My daughter has taken dance classes for over 4 years and is currently a part of the dance team- for the third year. She is always excited to go to dance class and is always asking to add on more classes. She has learned so much and has come so far as a dancer...her love of dancing has grown tremendously since being at the studio. I would never put my child in an environment that was not healthy for him/her...no place is perfect, but Rock Star tries so hard to create a positive environment for all who walk in their doors. I admire the values that Rock Star staff instills on every level of dance/dancer (how to treat others, costumes that cover up, etiquette of a student and amazing each type of dance can be). The dance team students and families are an incredible group that I am proud to be a part of. I have never experienced any "dance moms or dads" and everyone is helpful, encouraging, positive and dedicated. The older dancers are also wonderful role models for the younger dancers-showing the kids that you can work hard, compete hard, laugh, encourage yourself and others, push yourself (even in genres that you are not used to dancing), be there for each other and have tons of fun... and that everyone has the power to sweat sparkles(HA!). All dancers cheer on each other on at every practice and dance competition with positive words, hugs and beautiful smiles. Rock Star is a beautiful place full of spectacular people...dont miss out on an incredible dancing opportunity for yourself or your children:)

Dance. It’s more than just physical movement-- it is an opportunity to share your soul, to lighten your heart, to tell a story, to have fun, to stretch beyond your limits and to reach for the stars. Rockstar Dance Studio promotes all of the above and then some. Not only has my daughter been a student at Rockstar for 3 years, but I myself have taken classes there as well. The small town feel of PG is echoed in this studio, as everyone knows everyone and yet feels a part of something big. The dancers are not only taught the art of dance, but skills that will help them be successful in life: show up on time, listen to the instructors, be prepared, work as a team-player, be focussed, work hard, have fun and always do your best. I am so grateful to Stevie McKim and the Rockstar Faculty, that we have this dance studio available to us to let our children reach for their dreams--and dreams are being fulfilled. Not only have the students had the opportunity to go to dance conventions outside of the area, but they have won awards at several different competitions, and even won first place at Nationals last summer. The teachers are all very talented in their own right, and passionately share these talents with their students. I know that my daughter, and all of the students, are not only are learning to dance, but they are learning to be ROCKSTARS, from the inside out!

She has danced for 2 1/2 years now, and her love of dancing and the growth she has experienced is directly attributable to the devoted, encouraging, knowledgeable teachers she has found at Rock Star. I was looking for an adult beginner jazz dance class and found one here! I loved working with Stevie and loved how inspired I felt in the studio! Id catch myself grinning from ear to ear as Stevies patience with me would help me to finally get a move right! I LOVED IT!

They have a very loving staff who are in the teaching business for a reason they generally care about the progress of the kids. We tried other studios but we found our home at rockstar. We are now rockstar for life.
