Going to Watercourse Way is a special treat for me (us really, me and the hubs). A once or twice a year special occasion. We get a tub room, and then separate massages afterwards. Afterwards we usually try to grab dinner at Evvia, which makes for a pretty amazing day. In the past weve done an hour tub, followed by hour long massages. The most recent visit we did an hour tub and hour and a half massages. AMAZEBALLS. My hubs has Swedish massage, I get deep tissue. Every massage therapist has been really good for each of us (weve been several times), no one stands out above the rest. Although, Francisco was my deep tissue massage therapist this last time, and he did a wonderful job (I would highly recommend him). Tub rooms THREE TRILLIUM: tub, shower, and resting area with skylight (my least favorite of the three rooms weve been in, which is not to say that it isnt awesome, the other two are just more awesome) EIGHT STARS: Moroccan vibe, spa, sauna, cold plunge, shower, skylight, resting area. MY FAVORITE ROOM. NINE BATS: Spa, steam, cold plunge, glass mural, shower, resting area. This is a really beautiful room with no natural light. If you are going out to dinner afterwards, they have hair dryers in the bathroom. So no need to lug yours with you. Want a discount? Pickup Spa Finder or Spa Wish gift cards at Costco. They are currently $79.99 for (2) $50 gift cards. Thats a 20% discount!!!! Of course, always call prior to purchasing the GCs to make sure that Watercourse Way accepts the GCs still.

The online booking didnt work for me. I called in and ask the lady on the phone to tell me how about the spa and how the booking worked because I had never been to Watercourse before. She told me about the massages and bathhouse. I booked a couples deep tissue massage. Upon our arrival our booking was for a couple therapy massage (not deep tissue) and they didnt have any deep tissue massage therapist available. We waited in the waiting room and were escorted to our couples massage room. I asked if we could do the baths first and I was told we could not since we did not book an appointment for the baths. I was a bit confused because when I called I asked how this worked and what I needed to book. I was never told I needed to book the baths and massages separately. When I talked to the front desk about the confusion they told me they are not trained to tell customers how to book their appointments or make recommendations. The front staff and manager believe it is the customers responsibility to research how and what they would like to book. Our massages were great and we were provided robes after the massage and escorted to the showers. I was expecting a locker room and spa amenities but there was none. I would recommend this place if you just wanted to do the baths or just wanted a massage and you are not looking for the full spa experience. Make sure you book both if you want to do both.

I usually refrain from writing negative reviews, but I feel obligated to warn you that Watercourse Way has terrible customer service. I would highly recommend against coming here--especially to purchase a gift card. I tried to use a gift card, and they claimed that the gift card was "canceled" and that someone reported it lost or stolen. I inquired further and unfortunately their archaic system had no documentation of who called in or if the gift card was even replaced. My thoughtful friend, who purchased the gift card, finally got a hold of the manager who then claimed they had a history of giving a refund--the refund information was from a different credit card transaction and the date did not match. My friend provided evidence that her credit card was charged, and reiterated that the date did not match. Watercourse Way refused to acknowledge their mistake and would neither refund nor honor the gift card. We will be following up with the credit company, since this appears to be a blatant legal violation. Needless to say, Burke Williams is a much better option--any spa is better than Watercourse Way. Also, be warned that if you go to Watercourse Way, is highly likely that if you encounter a problem, the manager will most likely be unavailable. Next, the receptionist will apologize superfluously and promise that the manager will call you the next day, and you will not receive a call.

Overall a pleasant experience. Not easy to find a sauna/cold plunge experience in this area. Service was good, and the building is pretty. My wife and so used room #8 for an hour (hot tub, sauna and cold plunge). Several details that could be remedied with some additional attention paid. The waste basket in our room looked like it had been dumped, but had several items stuck to the bottom that took away from my experience: used bandaid, what looked like a wart pad etc. Of course it was in the trash and so it wasnt unsanitary, it just took away from the clean, fresh feeling of the room. It sounded like there was some construction going on (wood sawing?) adjacent to our room through the duration of the experience. Dramatically took away from the relaxation. Given the purpose of the rooms, it would be great if that kind of thing could be done when customers arent in. Similarly with the hot tub - the chlorination was heavy enough that when you turned the jets on the smell was overwhelming. Again, not such an egregious error but that the purpose is to relax. All that said, I do feel good, the prices are reasonable, and I may very well be back

I love this place. If youre going for a massage, try and find the time to get there an hour early and reserve one of the hot tub rooms. Hot tub rooms can accomodate more than one person, and Ive found that two people make the hour much more enjoyable. Ive been in "9 Bats" and loved it. There are even a few rooms with a cold dunk tank for those that are into that. My massage was wonderful. I dont get anything extreme, but they offer a handful of massage styles. I happen to have known one of the masseuses that works there. He, at least, is very good and professional about his time at Watercourse Way. Ive given gift certificates as gifts, and would do so more often if I still lived in the area. Parking usually isnt a problem. Highly recommended. I miss going there, myself.

Watercourse Way gets high marks for date night. The environment is restful and zenlike - without being too frou-frou. My husband and I have been here a number of times, and we always go with the couples massage. Its a wonderfully-appointed room with a double steam shower (so much steam that you almost cannot see one another), two massage tables, relaxing music, and an overall wonderful experience for us. My husband normally falls asleep during the massage, which means he is in heaven. I usually go with the deep tissue (so sleeping is not the result), and I have never been disappointed. We will continue to go back to Watercourse Way!

Watercourse Way is more than an hours Drive from where I live. The environment there is very healing and relaxing, and that is one of the reasons its worth the trip, but only one. The most important reason for me, and for my family as well, is a massage therapist there named Charlene. Ive heard many standard definitions from them for her style of Massage, but none of them really fit. Shes a Healer whos spent her life learning the human body and the human internal reality. When I, or someone close to me, needs rebalancing, we go see Charlene. If you sometimes feel like you could use a rest and a reset, you might enjoy meeting her.
