WAY to expensive! I had a Toyota misfiring on a cylinder. I attempted to fix it by replacing the spark plugs and moving the coils around. Since this did not mitigate the issue I brought it into J&D. They charged me $250 for 2.5 hours of works.... which included pulling the codes and doing a dry & wet compression test on each cylinder... way over charged, I swapped out my spark plugs under 30minutes! From this they discovered that the Valves were not closing all the way and I was loosing compression. They wanted $2000 for labor and $500 for sending the head to a machine shop... thats 20 hours to disassemble and assemble the head, I dont think so! I brought my car to Auto works down the street and had it done for $1100. Auto works may have taken longer, but at least they werent squeezing me for money!

My husband & I have taken all our vehicles there for almost 10 years. John & his crew have done everything from smogs & oil changes to brakes & struts (and everything in between). They even exorcised the demons from the Ford truck !! We have always been treated with honesty & respect & have never been pressured into unnecessary repairs or jacked-up labor charges. They have gone out of their way on several occasions to make sure were happy & our vehicles are ready when promised. I have met & talked with the new owner, Andrew, and feel confident that I will continue to receive the highest quality of service & repairs that my husband & I have received over the years. You can trust the advice they give you. We do. We wont take our vehicles anywhere else !!
