I was on the internet looking for a hair salon to razor cut my bangs. Out of COURTESY to the stylist I explained that I had to take public transportation to their salon and wanted to be sure not to take too much time out of her day to arrive for my appointment. After explaining my situation to her, she said to her receptionist and I quote" Why did you give me this phone". WOW, I said, did you really say that, She would not respond, and WE wonder why people dont promote BLACK businesses. I could have been a new customer, but due to her inconsiderate unprofessional attitude I will not bring my BLACK DOLLARS to Fresh Start Beauty Salon, Rialto, CA. After telling my unprofessional experience to several of my friends it was suggested to razor cut my own bangs with a disposable razor, and guess what, it worked, so I saved money, didnt have to take the bus and my bangs look great. And to think I would have promoted them at my club tonight.

it was really good. I just moved from out of state and needed to find a good place.They use soft wax which hurts more, but they do it so quick it doesnt seem to matter what kind of wax they use. also soft wax gets more hairs than hard wax, so thats nice.I came home with no excess wax stuck to me (and ready to surprise me when I took off my pants) and there were absolutely no hairs in sight!most clean and efficient wax Ive ever had, and it was a great price, so I booked my next one with them right after that first session.

My mom and I have been coming to the Fresh start salon for many years. So many amazing stylists, clean, And everyone is very welcoming. Im always happy with my hair afterwards and my weaves last longer than any other hair stylist Ive been to. Go see for yourself and you WILL NOT be disappointed!!
