Usually I am very happy with my quick stop for a side order of Mac n cheese as I make long medical trips to the bay area from (just south of the Oregon border) the Humboldt County area. This last time however the man in front of me finished ordering and then just kept chatting. Again normally I dont mind but I had to get my order in so I could use the restroom and get on the road. Once I make it to the cashier I ordered what I needed, she yelled to the cook and handed me a side that must have been pre-prepped? Or the Mac was just ready to be changed over for everyone.. I decided to scarf the little bowl of food before I left as It just hit the 3pm rush hour on 101. (No passenger, no carpool lane). But then I was glared at by a worker who came out to wash the windows of the building.. Yes, Ill go back and try it again :) its been a usual stop for me.. maybe I can try the drivethru next time!

Waited in a long drive thru line to get my order taken by someone with the most attitude possible, constantly being cut off. I didnt receive my full order and the food I did get was either wrong or thrown together all sloppy. Once the bag was swung at me and in my hands that window shut and I was ignored even though I didnt receive everything. I had to walk in to what can only be described as a war zone. Employees were snapping at customers and even their manager. I said excuse me and was greeted with a rude "What?!", I politely asked for the rest of my order because I didnt want to perpetuate the situation. Got my food and left. Go to the Pollo in Petaluma if you want Pollo. In this area you can also go to In-N-Out or Amys.

El Pollo Loco makes great Mexican food and has decent prices. I appreciate the fact that they list the calorie counts by each menu item. The primary reason I give 3 stars as opposed to 5 is that they often run out of chicken during dinner hours (6-8pm)? I know the chicken is flame grilled in house and the process takes time, but its fairly disappointing to have to wonder each time I visit if theyre going to have certain menu items available. Otherwise the service is usually great and the food is tasty.

Bad, bad,bad. After years of avoiding this place I tried it out while traveling and it was terrible. How many ways can you ruin chicken let me count the ways. I played it safe and ordered a simple Lock Taco. It was crazy bad. Chicken was dried out and tasteless, their avocado was not ready for prime time or anytime. Sent it back got my money back and went to a liquor store and bought a beer and a bag of chips. Much better.

Love this place! Better then kfc or other fried fast food in my opinion. Although i stick to the grill chicken it is well marinated and cooked taste so good. I usually get the chicken avocado burrito, and i substitute the cabbage with rice, its a great burrito. Love their bowls, their salads and tacos! Dont forget to ask for their creamy cilantro sauce! & they have a low calorie menu!!!!!!

chips were stale , burrito was almost all tortilla,they were chopping chicken with some big cleaver on a metal counter...the noise was horrible! Couldnt hear the girl talk who was taking my order. Salsa was alright, free drink refills. But I will not go back. Wasnt worth the $ spent, food wasnt very good.

Not worth it at all. The place was really dirty, along with 20 minute wait for the food. We tried ordering some sides and they didnt have half of them, along with the chicken; they only had legs and thighs. Extremely disappointed with the service and the restaurant in general.

Only went here once, and they were out of chicken, which was pretty frustrating. But I found something else that looked good, and the staff apologized for the problem, and were pretty friendly. Also, they got my order right and it was surprisingly good.

Always busy, but that is what happens when your chicken is crazy. Great service and food. I have always gotten accurate To-Go orders when using their drive through. Great chicken for the go if you dont want a burger.

I had never heard of it before but after dropping off a child at escape decided to stop for lunch. Really pretty good, I got the two chicken combo which was like a super good version of KFC (and healthier also)

Good food, service was ... new cashier. Chicken portions dissapointing- large family 12 piece mixed meal and we were given the smallest of the smallest pieces for the price!! Never going there again.

My tacos were over cooked, and they did not have any flavor. I felt I was eating a Jack n the Box taco. Yuck!!! T, I tried two salsa and neither of them had flavor. I would never go back.

Had not been here in a while and wanted a chicken burrito. However waiting in line for 20 minutes or more is not my idea of drive through. Not sure what was going on.

Food was plain, chicken, beans, rice, etc. The mild salsa tasted like salty tomato water, the beans were tasty but the rest I could easily pass on.
