I feel so lucky to have found Forever Young for my kids. My husband and I both work full-time, and when I was faced with finding childcare when our son was born, I was terrified. After visiting lots of daycare centers where the children seemed miserable, I visited Forever Young. I knew right away that I could take our son to FY and feel comfortable doing so because the children were content there. That was 3 and half years ago (October 2005), and we now have two children attending Forever Young, a toddler and a preschooler. Because of the care they receive at FY, my children are growing into polite, assertive, independent, and respectful young people. When we drop off our kids at FY in the morning, they are excited and happy to be there. The educarers really care about the kids, and many have been with Forever Young for 10+ years - two of the infant center educarers are going on 24 years each! The staff treat the children with respect and gentleness, and the children are encouraged to develop both physically and mentally at their own pace. I love that my kids eat healthy whole foods while at school because, lets face it, I dont always have the time to offer them whole foods at home. Forever Young is a parent cooperative, and relies upon parent support and participation (in addition to the full-time staff) to keep the center running smoothly. Because of this, the families who attend Forever Young become part of an extended "family," which is an additional benefit for our family. Bottom line: Forever Young has been great for our family, and I highly recommend it! If you are looking for quality childcare in Sacramento, I encourage you to take a tour and pick up a brochure.

Our daughter has been attending the FY Infant Center since she was 4 months old and we are so happy to have found such a wonderful day care. As first time parents, visiting day care after day care, the process can be so daunting. You think, how can we possibly leave her with strangers all day? But, that quickly changed when we toured Forever Young. We had visited many day care facilities in the downtown area, but none of them could compare to the great staff at Forever Young. Sure, when you first walk through the door you dont see all the new, "shiny bells and whistles" like you do at the giant corporate or state subsidized day cares. However, what really matters is that she is in a safe, clean, caring and nurturing environment. We like the fact that parents must volunteer hours throughout the year. This allows you to get to know the parents and even more so the kids and amazing staff members. Several of the staff at the infant center have been with Forever Young for more than 26 years, most more than 4. We also like that the kids are fed healthy, vegetarian food (and we arent vegetarian). Our daughter has such the love of veggies and fruits! Our daughter is almost two and she is growing up to be a smart, well-behaved, social little girl. As parents wed like to take all the credit, but knowing she spends many hours a week at Forever Young, I know the educarers have a lot to do with it. We will certainly miss Forever Young once she ages out. Im not sure well find as good a place to go.

This is Forever Youngs Infant Center for kids who are 6 weeks through 2 years. All three of our children have gone here and our experience has been tremendous. The Downtown location and big, shady play-yard are great, but - as with the preschool - the real story here is the staff. They are amazing, with endless patience. Many have been in child care for over 20 years and have a kind, common-sense strategy for everything these little ones can throw at them. They really love our kids, and our kids love them too. Most importantly, our children are always happy here. You wont find infant swings, high chairs, bouncy seats, or anything else where kids can be plopped down. The staff are the kinds of people who LOVE to hold babies. And as soon as the kids can walk, they are off to the toddler room and the play-yard where the action is fast and furious. I truly cannot imagine sending our kids anywhere else. This has been such a good experience.

I feel so lucky that a friend recommended the Forever Young Infant Center. My initial impression wasn’t entirely positive as the facility was older than others I had looked at. But I soon came to realize that the age of the building mattered little and the most important thing is the care my children receive. Other facilities I visited felt cold and sterile, while Forever Young had a lived in, comfortable, family feeling. The Forever Young staff is very dedicated and caring. The tuition is competitively priced, with one of the best features being that Forever Young provides diapers, wipes and meals! Another nice feature is that a lot of parents work nearby and are able to visit the facility periodically during the day. My son attended the Infant Center and is now at the Forever Young Preschool site and my daughter currently attends the Infant Center. I would highly recommend both sites.

Ive have my daughter going to Forever Young at their Infant/Toddler site on P Street for more than a year now and its great! The staff is really caring and have been long-term employees (some for over 20 years!). They even helped us to get her to take the bottle, which was a BIG deal at the time. Worth checking out if you need daycare. I heard about them from my neighbor and it was a good tip.

My Son Came Home and told me the daycare helpers were very mean to him... Never send your kids here... They will make your child cry
