I called this office approximately 1 week ago attempting to verify a work history reference from a prior Volt employee assigned to Apple for 1 year recently. This individual was applying for work with our company. This office initially gave me a fax number to their corporate office. Three times their corporate faxed back a cover sheet missing the data required. I then called this office 8/25/15 and asked if I could speak with the manager. The woman answering the phone stated she needed to know why I asked to speak with the manager. (I was hoping to obtain work dates from a manager since corporate office fax system is not working.) Since she would not route me, I explained everything shown above. She then stated she would give me a phone number of someone I could speak with. I hesitated but said, "Alright." She then became aggressive and said, "If you are going to cop an attitude--I will hang up on you!" I was really surprised by her behavior and replied, "I am simply trying to hire your ex-employee but I need to verify prior work history." And then she hung up the phone. Very unprofessional and surprising behavior. I have been a Human Resource Director for 27 years and have never witnessed a Temp Agency representative act in such a manner. You would think they would want to help their ex-employee secure employment--however, that is absolutely not the case. Given the fact this person will now allow me to speak with her manager, I will have to track down a corporate office phone number. (I feel sorry for an ex-Volt employee that will need a work history reference from this office--because they will not be very cooperative.)

Worst service I got in my life from any agency. I simply asked a questions about work and how the loan deferral works through these temporary agencies and Elizabeth at the front desk who answered my call pretty much accused me of just trying to get over on them. Elizabeth literally tried to make it seem like I was calling only for my name on some list and my loans be deferred. Very unprofessional, Im trying to pay back school not just put it off like some low life. I immediately commented to her that I didnt like the fact that she was doing that and I found work elsewhere. My advise go anywhere but here. Im a student trying to make my way life everyone else.

This review is for the lady who answers your phone. When I called I was a potential customer. As I a customer, I equate to paying your paycheck. A bit of communication, listening skills and POSITIVE ATTITUDE goes a long way. In your case, Volt just lost business for the way you acted. I will not put my companies reputation in jeopardy due to your lack of representation and respect. Volt - as a staffing company, you should be a bit more aware of who is representing your company and consider a strong accountable conversation or change in position. You are losing business.

Yeah they got me a job at Apple but in a position they didnt explain about having to meet an outrageous number quota every day Ive been asked to be moved so I dont lose my job and end up on the street but these guys wont even help. So Ill probably be homeless as a result of them not trying to help an employee keep his job and be able to stay off the street. Thanks Volt!! Shouldnt treat good working employees like they dont matter. A simple change of position in the same building same department would ease someones situation and make it better but no one there cares at all.

This Agency is unprofessional and staffs are extremely rude. The woman that always pick up the phone when we call. She never give us any thing or information. I called and ask her ( Hi, i just wondering if you guys having any job position or job opening). All she say "we not hiring." I was like okay. But this is temp agency is there any sites for opening. She just hang up on me. Wtf. I am very disppionted to this Agency for hiring someone who is not helpful at all. I will never call this temployment agency again.

Just got fired because I had a family emergency and I was going to leave 2 hours early but had to leave 4 hours early and because of that they terminated me and my friend. Worst agency you can work for. The staff are extremely rude and the work ethic feels like slavery. I would never recommend this hiring agency because they will screw your paychecks and you will never get promoted even though they promise you will. I rate them 0/10.

This is an exellent way for a person to land the perfect job the employees are not there to become tour friends so just expect to do a job not talk about the weather..kind of attitude and everything should go smooth..everyone has to start somewhere..to get to the top !!

People in the office are cool. Not the brightest bunch, but they got my foot in the door in less than a month so ill say that im greatful for that. Also didnt get paid for 3 weeks. Luckily i found another job but at least they gave me a start.

They LIE to you and tell you , you have the job at Apple. They tell you you have to wait but they are lying never even call. The woman at the counter is extremely rude,VOLT is very unprofessional.

This is a job center. Good for fresh start to work as Labour for their clients. No benefits and no holiday pay. Very restricted clients as you think you are working in a military camp.
