Let me start by saying that QUA wins in customer satisfaction, in my book. I had originally purchased a gift certificate for my husband to have two massages at QUA - hes got a stressful job and really needed it. We had never tried QUA, and it really looked like the perfect, serene haven from what I could read on their website. Sadly, his experience was not a good one. Without getting into details, Ill just say that I wrote a letter to the owner, detailing what had happened and she IMMEDIATELY contacted me. She offered me the opportunity to come back and try again, with a 90 minute massage and manicure. Since hubby wasnt interested in going back, I used the services. The ambience was a bit weird, because they were undergoing renovations at the time, but overall I could tell that they were working towards a beautiful, serene environment. Rodney gave me a fabulous massage - both relaxing and therapeutic, and he really worked with me on specific areas that had been causing me problems. It was amazing! After that, I had one of the best manicures Ive ever had! My nails are problematic - very brittle and not the most beautiful shape - but Karen shaped them perfectly and really took her time. I strutted out of QUA an new woman - refreshed, relaxed, and feeling great! KUDOS to the folks at QUA for turning lemons into lemonade for me. Ill definitely be back!

I LOVE Qua!!! One of the best body + foot massages I had in San Francisco!! I also been to those well known spa or spa in the luxury hotels but nothing compare to Qua. When you first arrive, you are greet by the nice front desk girl (if not the owner) and they will offer you a nice cup of tea (you can pick your own tea leaves too!!). My masseur was pretty awesome that he asked what bothering me the most so he could work on it. I dont think a lot of spas do that. They listen to their customer and make sure you are comfortable, relax, and feel refresh afterward. I would highly recommend you go try Qua when its your time for a massage! I know they are pretty busy and get booked all the time. Make sure you make appointment, and Im sure you will love it like I do.

As an Esthetician myself, I went to QUA for an Oxygen Facial to treatment. This is my first review -- ever! Thats how happy I am and compelled to say, THANK YOU QUA. It was amazing!! I cant tell you enough how important it is to take care of yourself and your Skin. I walked in and it felt like a Spa, smelled like Roses, had tea, friendly staff and wonderful environment. It was like total serenity being at another Spa. For $110, it lasted about 75minutes. Carmen had the hands of an Angel. I didnt want to get up! She really understood my needs and took care of my skin. Ladies and Gents, this is worth it. Buy the Package Price, its way more worth it and you get a massage :) You must visit QUA. I cannot wait to come back.

Great customer service. I got the Qua massage which started out with a foot soak/scrub and then a full massage after. Great massage itself, the chair/table used was not very comfortable when I was getting the foot scrub because its meant for a really tall person. ( I am 55) It was also a bit cold and I had lots of blankets but because it is one big space separated by half walls, you cannot control the temp. of individual "rooms" and the noise level isnt as quiet. Overall a great treatment, if you want the full on spa experience with steam rooms, etc and very quiet areas not the place for that...More of a hip, SF place with good services but ambiance isnt classic spa

I started coming to Qua when I lived next door at the Trinity building. And even after I moved, I still come for facials here and there. Staff are all super professional and down to earth, conversationalists if you want or will respect your down time. I like the products as well, and even though Im probably one of the few guys who come in, they dont make me feel like I dont belong in any way. (maybe they snicker when I leave.. je men fous (dont care :) Cool place, great value, great location and you can usually find parking just outside the door on Mission.

I work nearby but I have been slow to try Qua because I thought the prices were pretty high. They are - but I finally broke down and got a brazaillian wax with Deborah yesterday. She was amazing. Probably one of the best waxes that Ive ever had (and Ive had a lot). Decently painfree (it was only a little uncomfortable because Im pregnant but she cant control that), using hard wax and so thorough. And a lovely conversation. Very clean. Highly recommend. Would be back more often if the prices were a more reasonable.

Ive been living in SOMA GRAND for a few months now and have been meaning to try QUA out especially since I work from home. My mom was in town and she wanted to get a pedicure so we called and booked a spot. I havent been to many spas so its hard to compare but I really liked QUA, it was very relaxing. It wasnt noisy like other places we had been to for manicures/pedicures. Service is good they offer you tea/water. The place is very clean. Check it out, it would be a good break after a shopping sprint at Westfield.

I had a great experience getting a massage at Qua. It was very relaxing and I felt like special care was taken with the areas I had mentioned needed more attention. I was actually given a bonus aromatherapy facial treatment just as a trial, and that was great too. The massage stations were a little bit close together and near to a hallway so every once in a while there would be a little bit of a distraction from people moving around. But overall I had a great massage and do plan on returning to try a manicure.

This was my second visit to Qua Spa. I received a wonderful express massage from Erica. She made sure to ask if the pressure was fine as she moved from head to neck to shoulders. I also received a mani/pedi from Sandy. She was efficient and polite. This is a great place when you want a non-nonsense kind of service, as it really doesnt have a true luxury spa feel. The space is very small and on street level - nicer than some other nail salon/spas, but certainly not equal to others.

After spending weeks on the road traveling for work, my skin was parched and my back in knots. I got the massage + facial combo. I loved my massage with Christine (she was so attentive, detail oriented, and firm which I love) and my facial with My. My face is glowing and Im so relaxed after a great session with these two ladies. I would highly recommend the massage + facial combo - it will make your weekend! Thank you to everyone for an incredible treat when I needed it the most.

Ive watched Qua transform over the past 2 years and I have to say they just keep getting better! All of the services Ive had the pleasure of receiving have been great and I particularly love their signature facial. The oxygen treatment is a MUST try! Their products are super effective and the staff is just wonderful. Not to mention, parking is super easy - that makes any visit to a spa just a little more relaxing. I love all of my visits to Qua, thanks and keep up the great work!
