I went in to get a haircut l. Had to wait for 2 hours. Thought it was worth it but it was not. I was trying to get a clean/professional cut. She was not taking her time with my hair. Guess she was in a hurry. I dont blame her though, shes the only one working there. Left long hairs all over. Tapers were horrible. The fade was the worst. Uneven fade; one side was higher. The other side had a bump. If your looking for a clean/professional cut, this is not the place to go to. Not worth the $25.

I am from Texas visiting my daughter,son in law,and grandchildren. They come here to get there haircuts and i needed one. They brought me here and boy there aint nothing like getting a straight razor shave and a nice fresh haircut. I let my beard grow for about 4 months then cut it.Boy felt good. She did an amazing job. I wish i had a barber like this in Texas. Unfortunetly my barber does not do that. I do come visit every 6 months so i will be back.

Gloria has been cutting my hair now for about a year. She does an excellent job. I have sent my friends and family members here and everyone loves her. Good quality and only $20. I will keep coming here and will keep promoting her business because its probably the best barber shop in the peninsula do to the price and my sexy hair cuts I get every 3 weeks. Come on down ladies and gentleman, you got to meet Gloria. Great barber and person.

one barber 4 customers. on a friday you know you will be busy why not have the right coverage. hair cut was basic. i think the price was not worth the haircut. 25$ for a fade. dont understand the people rating this place so high they must never never been to a true barbershop. just because ypure store front says barbershop that doesnt make you one. it was more like a supercuts.

Just moved to San Mateo from Seattle, Ive been looking for a barber and happened to walk by when in downtown. I saw a lady doing a shave and gentlemen looked so relaxed I decided to get a haircut and shave. I loved it! Shes very thorough and professional with her work. Straight razor shave was awesome. Hot towels were a plus. I found my new barber!

A quality haircut for $20. Friendly barber, with authentic conversations when you want them, and nothing else when you dont. Parking is a struggle sometimes, so plan accordingly.The foam, shave and hot towel at the end doesnt hurt either :) To sum it up for you: Cash Only, Walk-in friendly, $20, Good folks!

Gloria is great - fast, consistent haircuts, at a reasonable price. She also does straight-razor shaves, which I treat myself to from time to time. Ive moved a few miles away, but havent been willing to roll the dice on a new barber. Cash-only, so I have to remember to hit the ATM before I go.

The last and only place I will get my haircut! The best cut in the peninsula, worth the short wait & price. Ive had $50 and $10 haircuts at other places which I regret. Even when I change my style here they wont let me leave with a bad haircut...simply the best.

Gloria was real cool! She comes from a long history of barbers so you are in good hands. There was no wait and parking was easy. I plan on coming back every time. Give her a shot you will be glad you did! Good to support local business and shes a pro!

Curls beware. Friendly and clean, but one of the worse cuts Ive had in a long time. Ive got curly hair, so you may have a better experience, but Ill be heading to my regular barber soon to see if she can fix this mess at all.

Im military and was in town and needed a cut. Super impressed with Gloria. Did a fantastic job, super friendly. Anytime I end up in the bay, I know where to get my haircuts from now on.

Gloria is an awesome and super fun lady. Her haircuts are on par with the salons that charge upwards of $60. Her walk in only policy is super convenient and all cuts are only $25.

I just went and had my hair cut there for the first time. I enjoyed the haircut and highly recommend it to!!!! Far better than any supercut or mastercuts type of place.

I walked into this place today without an appointment and had a great haircut within 45 minutes (there were 3 guys ahead of me). I recommend this barber to anyway!
