Accompanied my partner to get a haircut. We have tried several other salon/barber, but no one really quite got us the cut that she wanted. Decided to check out this barber after reading a couple positive reviews. And they are right! By far the best experience we had. The hairdresser, we forgot to get her name, was patient and was listening attentively on what she wanted to have. She would chip in her recommendations and proceeded promptly with the cut. It was a quick and attentive cut. Affordable price too, $14. They have quite a dated shopfront and interior. Dont be too quick to dismiss them as an option. The hairdresser is certainly in tune with the trends and she in delivering them. Will definitely be back!

Horrible service... I took my son who is in 2nd grade to get his hair cut the day before his picture day. The lady who started to cut his hair ran the blades of the trimmer up way to high and was unable to blend his fade to look even. They side of my sons head had an arch and was noticeably wrong which she tried to fix for almost 20 minutes. I told her that I was unhappy with hair cut and she began to yell at me saying she had been cutting hair for 20 years and never met anyone as dumb as me and began to scream at me. I left after paying but not happy about having to pay and took my son to another barber in an effort to have his hair fixed. AVOID, AVOID!!!

Best haircut ever! I cant remember the mans name that cut my hair, I think it started with a T, but he was awesome! The price was great too; about $30 total --with tax and tip. He started with a 10 min scalp massage, then shampoo, cut, and style. I got an asymmetrical bob, every hair was cut precisely, and he point-cut it, he didnt just use those thinning shears. The styling part was also great, he actually took the time to blow dry it straight (I have very curly hair) AND straighten it with a flat iron! No one does that for $30! I cant tell you how many compliments I received that weekend. I cant wait to go back!

Worst haircut ever, I could cut it better by myself! The hair stylist was visibly upset when I pointed out my hair was uneven. She was also very impatient during the haircut, which was done in probably less than 10 mins.

Good but not Great! If your not that picky about your hair and want something basic with a cheap price then go for it , however if you take grooming seriously I recommend searching other options

So far, this is my go to place in San Mateo. The prices are ok and the hair cut is consistent, although my style (if you can call it that) is pretty straight forward.
