What is with all the bad reviews? No need to hate. I bring my car to this carwash almost all the time, and I always get a good result. I have been ripped off by Duckys many times, but Hillsdale, I always get my moneys worth. A couple days ago, I took my mom to get a car wash on her 2002 Jaguar XKRR for her birthday, and ordered a C package. The result, My God, the best. The car hadnt looked so good in years, the workmen took very good care of the car, and the equipment cleaned the car very well, and by the time the car reached the dryer, it was looking beyond acceptable. After the car had been waxed, and was ready, the car looked so good that my mom and I couldnt recognize it. The car was so clean, you would have thought it was brand new. I have also had the same result with my 1990 Volvo 760, and 1998 Volvo XC70, they comeout looking so clean they look new. The carwash recently had a million dollar renovation which included a whole new set of mitters, wrap arounds, soap & wax arches, rinsing showers, air dryer, and all are the latest in cleaning technology to deliver the cleaning power of a powerful thunderstorm. The car wash may be old, but the equipment is new, and the service is always great. Also when you get your car washed, you get to see it go through the tunnel which is always fun to watch. No need to hate, because this carwash is the best I have been to, the carwash equipment is new, the people are always nice, the manager is nice, and they have had my cars always looking spic and span. This carwash has been around since the 70s, and will be around for many more years because they always have and always will do a great job cleaning my cars. Definitely a 5 out of 5, or 10 out of 10.

Came in with my Audi TT convertible to have the interior detailed. First off, the price ($200) was a little much for a car that doesnt even comfortably seat two people. Second, the lady at the gate was not overly pleasant to work with and was a little pushy about the clay bar wax for an additional fee that I was not interested in after hearing how much it would cost for the easiest and smallest interior detailed theyll do all day. My biggest gripe.... Theres an area behind the seats and under the tiny back window that had leaves in it, and somehow they missed it entirely. In a car of this size and for the price, they very obviously didnt put much detail into this interior detailing. 2 stars, because what they did touch inside was fairly well clean and shiney. Still pretty bummed at what I got for $200 though

Theyre fine for the price and location. If you go during the week its a lot less crowded and you will get a better wash and enough attention to satisfy your childhood need for your mamas love. On weekends when its crowded your car will just be good enough clean and leave you asking why daddy wont love you more. Having tried out a few places in san mateo, this one is fine and better than most other car washes. My dealers detailing is much better than them but they are also twice as expensive.

I recently noticed while driving by that theyve had significantly more customers probably due to the improvement in service after the ownership change. So I took my car in today for the first time and I must say that this place offers outstanding service and a great value. They are fast and friendly, and this was during a busy Sunday afternoon. The best part is that they accept competitors coupons! Im definitely going back again.

First time to this car wash today - not only was the car not clean, but all my small change was missing from the car. Brought it to the attention of the management - they told me their employees dont steal. OK - so like the money was there when I left my car and now its not - so either I am a liar or YOU DO have an employee who steals. Yes, I know I should have picked up the loose change...but how about some ethics?

I had my girlfriends car detailed for her birthday. I got the Managers Special. They did a very thorough job. The car looked excellent, and they were the only place that was able to do the job in one day. They are open on sunday and pack everything you leave in your car into a bag....even old receipts. They were friendly and did professional work for a good price. I will definitely use them again.

This is a new business and may take a few months to get up and running. However, it was one of the worst car washes I have ever had. Do not go here. The wash took over 45 minutes for a basic wash. They were very disorganized and no one to greet you...No one was available when I tried to pay, expensive. Wash was rushed and the vacuum services was done poorly.

Dont ever go here. Took my car there today and they let my car roll out of the car wash straight out into Hillsdale Blvd. I sat there and watched my car almost get hit while workers ran into the street to get my car. They wont refund my money for my car wash and all they had to say was that a new guy was working and didnt know what he was doing.

First time here and last one I paid the one for 79 dollars with hand wax application and the inside and outside was done terrible I have to clean the car by myself so I wasted 79 dollars

Ive done the cheapo basic "wash only" and the basic "inside & out" wash. Good job, reasonable prices, and quick too. Cant ask for more.

Very pricey - $60 for convertible. Even no vacuum cleaning for that price. Slow service. Go to Ducky Wash instead that 5 min away.

Excellent car wash. Make sure you do the "buy 2 regular washes and get one free". Otherwise it is kind of expensive.

Great car wash, sometimes they miss a spot or two so I would advise double checking before you leave.
