So my husband and I called them a about a year an a half ago and tried to get an estimate for the work we want done at home. We didnt have the money for the work so we have been working on making sure we have what we need. I called maybe 3 months ago and the receptionist who by the way is not very attentive and sounds like the phone call is a drag said that they werent taking any appointments at this time unless I wanted to schedule in November. I thought that was a bit long to wait so I decided to call other places for estimates. Now that we are finally ready to move forward I called again and they are charging to get an estimator to come out and measure the property and give us a quote because theyre busy and only do free estimates when they dont have that much work . I told the receptionist what we wanted to do and according to her our total project will cost 3x what I have been quoted by others. Im so disappointed that now that theyre busy they are taking advantage of the customers by charging an arm and a leg. I gave them 2 stars only because of the work I have seen in the TV show but really you should stay humble and not rip off the hand that feeds you. Thanks but no thanks!!!!

Do not use Battres Construction. They will make you wait weeks for an appointment and then they wont show up at all or theyll cancel right before your appointment time!! My girlfriend and I are both professionals, we took time off of work to be here for two appointments and they didnt show up for either one. The first time, they didnt even call to cancel, I had to call them after waiting for 30 minutes. The second time, they cancelled 15 minutes before the appointment and said "something came up". Completely disrespectful. They also charge $90 for the initial visit. At least we didnt have to pay $90 for nothing, as there is no way I would trust the quality of their work when they cant even manage to show up for an appointment (twice!). Dont waste your time on these guys!

Was excited to call Battres for a bathroom remodel quote because we love the work they do. Unfortunately , we did not get a call back when the receptionist assured us that Lorena would call back that day. It has been almost a week now and still no call. The communication needs improvement considering others are having similar experiences.
