True to the craft and students of the art, the barbers here probably do more than youve seen most anywhere else. Its a small shop with character, its inviting and warm with a bench seating waiting area, a lounge upstairs. Although its new and is gradually building decorations you dont go to a barber for the decorations. You go to get your haircut and socialize. To catch up on current events, talk shop in a safe environment. There are no TVs with sports center or DJs bumping house music either. Its not just a shop for a mans man, but for every man. All are treated well, welcome and equal. The main barber Carlos "Exit" Landeros has been cutting my hair for a while from when he was in San Diego and yes I commute to him because hes the only one Ill let cut my hair anymore. All the barbers there are just as good and Ive seen them make miracles. Hot towels, straight razor shaves, bay rum and the massager to finish eat cut. Exfoliate and moisturizer and more hot/cold towels for each shave as well. At El Catrin the barbers and their craft are the product. Theres no need for advertizing or promotions. When you look good, you feel good. When you come to the shop its a get away to a time when people took pride in everything they touch and are associated with. Its not just your grandpas shop. These guys are so good they could polish a turd to shine like silverwear. Suavecito Pomade is a product they sell there. Its top of the line shine with a hold that could keep the world at bay. Water soluble pomade thats affordable quality you almost want to invest in. Oh and the smell will help you slay the ladies.

Best spot to get a haircut GUARANTEED!! Roman gets down! Not only him but everyone else in there gets down! They really put that neighborhood vibe. Friendly spot and best part is that they are kid friendly! Place looks nice movies and music are the best too! Single blades got towels scent towels every product they have amazing suevecito products are amazing

Bad i have gone a couple of times there to give them a chance and see how everyone is The last time I went was an early day and there was about 4 of the barbers 3 got there late and then started doing unnecessary things I was waiting around the hour and was the only one next and since they took so long I just got up and walk out (NEVER GOING BACK!)

Very legit - i believe george cut my hair (first chair to the right) very professional, nice clean place with old school vibe, very chill - as are the barbers. To top it off, gave me an even cleaner cut, very dope spot, will def be back. 20 bucks for a clean fade, and well worth it. Thanks
